There is WAY too much post-processing effects for me to touch this game with even a 10-foot pole.

I hate that trailer on Kotaku.....those stupid words in the middle of the screen block out the action going on in the trailer.
Then don't play it at 1080p.
Computer monitors are 16:10 anyways, which does not translate to 1920 X 1080.
Plus, I think Crysis looks far better when played at say.....1280 X 1024 at very high at 60 fps.
Now all Valve needs to do is push EA out of the way and fix the Orange Box for the PS3, and I'll be fine.
There is no excuse for the frame-rate drops on the PS3 version, considering the fact that the Source Engine LOVES having lots of processor power to use.

I was stunned when I heard Microsoft wasn't going to include a standard hard drive, like they did with the previous generation Xbox.
They probably saw how successful the PS2 was WITHOUT a hard drive standard, and decided to copy that.
They're trying to emulate the PS2's success last gen.
- Xbox 360 releases first (like PS2)
- PS3 and Wii release one year later (like gamecube and xbox)
- large library of games available for 360 in a very short...
You know what I did with the 120GB hard drive from my friend's elite after he didn't want it anymore? (DVD drive broke and he didn't want to bother sending it back....pissed him off because I warned him before he bought it)
I took the hard drive out of the casing, formatted it, and put it in my laptop!!

You can use hard drive, USB flash drives, memory stick duo, memory stick pro duo, compact flash, SD card, etc etc etc on the PS3.
On the 360, you must use certified, licensed microsoft storage devices to hold game data.

I assure you that most of the people who had 360s fail on them (myself included....4 times), had them out in the open, with nothing blocking any sort of airflow.

I started this generation a microsoft guy...
1st 360 - DVD drive failure
2nd 360 - Overheat
3rd 360 - DVD drive failure / overheat
4th 360 - overheat / tripped the circuit breakers for my entire house
I will never touch an Xbox 360 again.
