I do think the game crashing bcause of a physics explosion has to do with his new video card, but he's right in ranting over EA's practices. They never fucking change.
I have high hopes for Bioware's next games for example, but I still have this fear that EA are gonna force them to do stuff to appeal to the wider audience or force their games out the door A la Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3. 1.5 year development cycle... for a game to conclude a trilogy of two oth...
Richierich. Remember the 3DS until september last year? Yeah, nothing is set in stone with the Wii U yet.
Pure PR sneakyness.

Don't you mean 640p 23fps can stay last gen? get my point.
Some of the toughest games this gen like Crysis 2 or Far Cry 3 ran sub720p. We're most DEFINITELY gonna see more 900p games in the future with PS4.
I think, the more cinematic a game feels, the more comfortable it is to play at 30fps.
I loved playing Mass Effect on my pc at 1080p 60fps but I went and played one on PS3 at some point and I actually found it pretty enjoyable with 30fps after a while, because you notice less of the jerkyness found in some animations that way.
NoMercyOnlyRage: Far Cry 3 is sub720p on PS3 and it runs very unstable 30fps.
I think developers are gonna start pushing the graphics as soon as the PC games reel in (they're almost there anyway) and we're gonna see 1080p @30fps.
I think devs know people want 60fps but at some point they're gonna find that they need to push the technical boundaries to the edge if they want a certain aesthetic or if the pc starts pushing noticable more polygons.
If anything I think now is the point when games are mostly gonna be 1080p@60fps,...
David Hayter as snake ONLY on PS4 >:D
Holy shit, that would make it the best game ever!
This isn't a culminative story for any of the previous games like MGS4. This one has a new story with plenty of characters we haven't seen before... and it's a prequel.
I hope it's as good as this review says it is and not just Game Informer over-hyping it because it "feels" like ALttP. Definitely getting it and I hope it's every bit as good as they say!
I can already see this becoming the main feature with Next-gen. Shorter load times and god I have waited long for this.

What do you not understand about "I don't agree with his opinion?"
I disagreed, but I don't imply that he's wrong. I just don't share his sentiment.
It's hard to play a game on a 1080p monitor if it's in 320x240 so his argument is invalid. I've tried it.
Hotel Dusk as well, but overall I think Phoenix Wright is by far the most enjoyable of the bunch. Better writing, humor, artwork and less cheesyness.
Although Hotel Dusk probably has the best story and script of them all. I just prefer Phoenix Wright for its great mix of lightheartedness and memorable stories. It's mostly character-driven though.
I just did the survey and told them to get some better artwork. It really is the only thing that just turned me completely off and I never finished 999.
I hate surreal manga art. Manga is fine... unappealing but acceptable, but I hate the hipster art of these games.
I also wrote that I thought the tone in the games is too corny. I don't just hate anime, but I've seen other stuff in Japanese anime with more appealing aesthetics and tone.
But it's arguably getting worse though.
In this and Skyward Sword they reversed a theme and called it new, or expected people to fawn over it when they realised it. I don't fawn over it. I think it's lazy and worst of all it sounds atrocious in both themes.
Wind Waker might've had its fair share of OoT similarities but its story and world felt so original. Twilight Princess was just a spiritual successor but at least it moved the series forward in a mo...
EA, the day you stop rushing your developers is the day I feel safe in buying your shit again.
720p @60fps > 1080p @30fps, though
That was the first thing I thought of. It sounds like something a wise old man would say to drake on an epic journey of his.
