Personally I would imagine there are a few reasons just by looking at their gameplay differences. First and foremost would be pacing, DOA is incredibly fast paced even for a fighter, Tekken, particularly back in the day in contrast is pretty slow.
Also I think basic arena fights are another thing that appear to bother the DOA team, every arena always has either multiple levels or threat points. I personally much prefer the DOA method
as glad as I am that its here, with how long it took I was actually expecting HL3. After all this time The engine will look vastly different so it being the add on DLC just seems odd to me
He said the opposite, and that they will basically never do that as the whole studio opposes it
you just put the premium sandbox game next to 2 of the most disappointing sandbox games ever. If anything it should take a few hints from both Red Faction Guerillas destruction and Just Cause 2 for its ability to keep airborne gameplay interesting
My one complaint is the tab you use to launch a game is 1/4 the size of a massive love film advert that is sitting right next to it. It just makes it feel less gaming focused to me
Surely most people who would have bought it already did, it was all over the UK ebay when it released in US. I would Imagine a lot of the EU had the same thing happening
Agreed, I would rather they started making games substantially longer and release less frequently. It would sure be a treat for the devs I bet too.
Only games I finished lately were AC:revelations and SR3 both of which because they were very short. Come to think of it though I did finish Skyward Sword which took around 40 hours. But the experience is now looked back on fondly unlike the other two mentioned
Personally I would actually rather have the original design back, not only was it a LOT more customisable but it was less cluttered in both the dashboard and the big X buttons page
Actually Iceman X that sounds a lot more like the script to the upcoming film Prometheus
But the thing is Xenoblade done very well in its UK debut months ago so they should have realised then that there was a profit to be made
For me it wasnt. They ruined what was close to being a great game by having 95% of the game end up as a huge set of errands for people so they will join your team.
I want a real story this time, like in the first game
If it was meant to be played on normal I doubt they would include other difficulties
I got my PC version too, funny you failed to mention the fact that both the superior features seriously mess with the performance of the game, and right now its basically the console version at 60 FPS with better AA.
Which is all well and good but I waited for the tessellation and physX of which both are very buggy
Because the first update on PS3 was wrongly named 2.0 when it was supposed to be 1.1 and the PS3 will not let you revert updates. It has to climb numerically or the system will not allow it
Well its running through an I7 Sandybridge OC @ 4.4Ghz, But is what your saying basically even with a powerful processor behind it, The coding of the PhysX is chomping up the whole processor too?
If so that is pretty insane, and would explain why my processor temps are unusually high and GPU temps abnormally low
Actually I noticed that not only is it a case of using the older config, Many games have for a long time, people have always dealt with it that PhysX took a lot to run, But the real issue is this time PhysX seems to actually hinder the GPU.
I ran the benchmark multiple times, and every time I get to the PhysX heavy ice crystals part, my FPS dropped to around 35 FPS minimum. A heavy drop on a 3Gb GTX 580. But more importantly when it hits the PhysX heavy area, My GPU usage dro...
You really missed his point, He is saying that to tell something directly in words is not as effective as leaving an image for you to judge it's meaning. To make you discover the story rather than be hand fed it. In fact what he is explaining is pretty the principle of any good writer.
Don't see why you would want to see it scrapped, He is basically indicating he has taken a more professional approach to the story this time. And Ken is one of the most creative guys ou...
Partially, A lot of XIII's size came from the cut scenes and the audio wasn't exactly compressed heavily either. This time cut scenes are either extremely rare or completely non existent in the game now. Most of the cut scenes if not all are rendered in game cutting out what was almost 20GB of data in the previous instalment
I actually remake orchestral versions of the songs that stood out to me from games, I admit I am not as good as those guys, but if you want, I could send you an orchestral version of that song so you could see what it may have sounded like, It's on my to do list anyway.
really late, 1AM
By the way, anyone else hoping Epic actually go with the samaritan idea and maybe even go next gen?
