Just a heads up for your typo. Title says "Alan's Wake"

Not to mention there are PS3/360 games currently being created for the Wii-U. If they were never inclined to downgrade the games for a Wii, then why start now. They already have 3rd party support so I really doubt it is actually true

@LightofDarkness

I definitely agree about the characters in Witcher 2. The mature theme is very evident and handled better than any other current game I thought personally. Generally the script for each character is perfect, along with the voice acting. I also do play a lot of WRPG's these days and was also raised on the JRPG genre.

I find the cliches of JRPG's still entertaining, mostly because the more juvenile story leaves a semi-light hearted appr...

By your judgement then a lasting relationship is an impossibility lol.

I disagree, I have no particularly high hopes for the game yet, But I fail to see how it could be the same, There will not be any built up cities to be jumping from building to building on.

This clearly meant a large change in the play style as they had to create a new engine for it. It will definitely be different, if it is as much fun remains to be seen

@KMCROC54 it was clearly a trolling attempt to say PC gamers don't play games. Don't defend trolls

@LightofDarkness it comes down to opinion, Witcher 2 was a fantastic game on my PC, but I enjoyed Lost Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles a lot more. Both of which really are fantastic JRPG's just as Witcher 2 is a fantastic WRPG

However the Witcher 2 has the graphical prowess, and is created by a rather small team, So I always give a lot of credit to...

Actually large amounts of the mythology tie over to the Fabula Nova Crystallis. However I agree it needs to be shown and soon. My personal suspicion is that it's going to be SE's declaration to joining the next gen much sooner.

It has been said before that Versus uses parts of the Luminous engine designed for next gen. So I can see this becoming a next gen launch title. However it has been catered to the PS3 architecture heavily so it depends on the architecture of t...

Story DLC is welcome, but honestly they need to fix the PC version at some point. I have the power in my comp to max everything, But the PhysX and Tessellation together keep adding a 30FPS cap for no reason on my system.

It's a great game, but both those features were touted to be usable and it was never mentioned that they only work 1 at a time.

Doubtful. Very doubtful. Way I see it, most games on steam are roughly $20 cheaper than their digital download counterpart on consoles.

Why would any of the big three want to sell games for less while simultaneously paying a share of it back to Valve. It's just unnecessary on their part.

Plus all 3 have the funds to just create their own new network that operates similarly to Steam. They aren't just going to want to throw money away for no reason

Well you are to an extent though. Often the a game will continue the story through DLC. If that game has a sequel that I plan to purchase in the future then the DLC is mandatory to getting the whole story.

Mutliplayer maps are not forced. But story based DLC does push the fans into a purchase they would have clearly rather had on the disk. Personally I would rather they just got on with the next game than try an add an extra 1/4 of a game I own and continue to charge me for t...

It should be, the article makes it sound like it is just an issue of the update itself, not that it is causing problems with the Vita. However the article itself is brief that it is hard to tell. I can't even tell if it's due to bad translation or just a lack of info from the original article

To be honest what comes to mind as a similar method for an ending, yet how to do it properly, would be Final Fantasy 8. The Ultemecia - Rinoa paradox. See that was only hinted at for less then a second in the final scenes yet most people got it fairly easily.

Mass Effect 3 hints at indoctrination a LOT more yet somehow never manages to point you in the right direction enough to let you piece it together easily.

I didn't, I received an overall sub-par experience compared to the previous 2, so speak for yourself. I can make my own opinion.

I would list what I found disappointing but all these things have been pointed out a thousand times

Just a warning, from what I have heard it threw away a lot of the Ridge Racer essence

Those extra 40 hours probably wont cover all sidequests anyway, not to mention all the extra monsters to go beat. Seriously its a fantastic game. Even designed so multiple playthroughs are a little more tempting. I hope it renews some faith in the JRPG for the US since the last good one was probably Lost Odyssey

Waiting on LBP myself. But I don't get why people think there aren't enough games. I have little deviants and escape plan, I would love Wipeout and Uncharted but don't have the money. I don't think there is a lack of games at all. The system currently has more games I want than any other system at the moment

Really? Thanks man, That's pretty close too. Can't wait now

I just want a release date. This was announced ages ago and being an arcade game it can't take that long to make. Even when it was announced last summer they had a decent amount of footage to show off so the base work must have been pretty far along already

Pretty sure they belong to Sony Santa Monica. I think they are a sub-division. However they did have a 3 game contract with sony which journey just fulfilled, So where they go from here remains to be seen
