Agreed, to be honest if it is Los Santos only I wont be buying, that was the most boring area in SA. If they use just one part I would rather they kept the Vegas area. That could be fun in the next GTA.

Oh well their loss, It's funny actually since my old GeoW crew got together for the end of the trilogy, And within 2 days we unanimously stopped playing the online. It pushed more down the road of GeoW2 than the original which makes no sense as it was a lot less popular.

You can play it, Its having a very minor issue with the battlelog most of all. Don't know why people keep going on about down servers. I have been on them for the past 3 days and no issues other than a bit of lag here and there and a small bug last night where the game would quit itself, that is also fixed today.
if the battlelog won't let you in then a quick livechat with EA will get it sorted in about 10 minutes, Obviously they are working on fixing it all together,...
All those issues are on consoles too. if anything drivers are better, since the game will still work just not as well. With consoles if you don't have the latest firmware it means no new games and no online.
Everything else is evident on consoles too. To be honest BF3 is the roughest launch I have had in a while. But you know it only took 15 minutes to fix and get playing. What about Dead Island? Its still pretty much unplayable on my PS3

Like how just cause 2 has awful voice acting, yet it feels right. Same with the Saints. The jokes are so bad they're good, because it is its own style.

I think it comes down to opinion and how you expected it to progress. Personally it went in the exact direction I expected so I am satisfied. Yeah some of the maps are a bit dumb, 2 of the maps end up in a constant 32v32 firefight in locked positions.
I think that's actually excusable though since its not uncommon for that to be a genuine situation in a battlezone. I could continue to poke holes in it but there is no need, The multiplayer is incredibly fun an that is all ...

Well your approval was misplaced. The issue that you appear to be slamming the game for is a minor hiccup that everyone else who doesn't just whine about it, has already sorted.
It's literally flooding the internet right now so I don't know how you missed it. I even told them I used a VPN trick to get in early and they sorted it for me

The truth of it is Xbox could easily handle Uncharted, The file sizes are inflated heavily to reduce piracy, not because it uses 40Gb. there is no such thing as a 40Gb game because it would be HUGE. rage is currently the largest clocking around 24Gb and that is purely because of mega-meshes.

Agreed but I want to see it re-invent itself next gen. No more system maps, Galaxy map yeah but replace the system map with actual ship exploration.
Make multiple docking bays on important planets so we have more of the planet to explore. Even if they had to cut back on the length of conversations it would be a worthy trade off for the gained feel of exploration.
Yeah because consoles clearly support the same shader capabilities, the tessellation was included for consoles it couldn't be used on.

Agreed and it goes beyond on PC too. Bokeh DoF and SSAO/GPU water simulation really took it that extra mile. For multiplat devs they are fantastic. They make sure to get the very best out of the consoles, and still find the time to add features they know won't be possible on the copies that will sell the most. It doesn't just show they work hard but they continue to take a huge interest in new technologies and apply it if they feel it would be beneficial.

Actually it is DirectX 11 compatible, Just it doesn't utilize any of the features of DirectX11 (or 10 I believe)
But anyone in DX11 should be getting really good performance. I admit I would have at least liked some tessellation

Exactly, The world is filled with violent media that doesn't affect 95% of the population. Me and my partner pretty much only like horror or dark comedy. And I have a daily massacre on one game or another most days. Yet if she squishes a bug, I normally end up feeling sorry for the damned bug lol. A game cannot dictate who you are for better or worse
