What I find funny about that whole thing is that even if it had the same specs as a PS3 it doesn't make it current gen. It is Nintendos next home console and therefore is next gen.
They could stick in an intel atom and use the intergrated graphics and it would still be next gen. It would be awful, but my point is the specs are irrelevant to what next gen is. That said I doubt we will see MS or Sony join the party until 2013
Not only that, Nomura has said in the past, and this is quoted "if Versus goes multiplat I will cut off my left arm" So I genuinely think he has more or less refused to work on the project unless it remains exclusive.
I doubt it would even be possible for it to go multiplat now because the development has stretched far beyond the crystal tools engine, It actually now incorporates a few of the features from SE's next gen engine which is still under development. T...
Apparently RTS doesn't exist for him
actually it has a huge benefit, just watch the Unreal tech demo to see just how much it benefits character models
I can see why you would feel that way, But personally I just enjoy gaming no matter what system. My current game is arkham city on pc, but I just finished off skyward sword on a wii and SR3 on 360 as well. Sometimes I buy the console counterpart instead just so I can put it on for a quick mess around when friends are round.
The PC versions always look better yes but that doesn't eliminate the console version for me always, I guess really I pick the games I will feel most...
While I agree the story is like a set of minigames. The real issue is the lack of stuff to do compared to old SR games, it pulled a GTA4 itself.
It's not awful, but I wish I had not spent my money on it. In fact a bit of analysis of the games recently released shows the game industry is taking a sharp turn in the wrong direction or the consoles are really at their end. Because I have gotten every major release other than CoD and Skyward Sword which I plan to get tomorrow....
Thing is there really isn't actually much to do in SR3. I beat the story now I am kind of stuck on what to do, there are hardly any side missions, a fraction of what there was in SR2, plus none of them seem worth doing now that all the upgrades are chosen through a phone rather than beating side missions, this takes away the incentive to do them since you know you won't be getting any cool secret weapons for it.
Honestly the game feels completely unfinished to me, I h...
His trolling was self face palming thanks to not realizing zelda is not link. Obviously never even touched a single Zelda title before
Honestly I don't think the bugs are anywhere near as bad as they are being made out to be, With a Bethesda release now the console is usually more stable than the PC. I'm playing on PC here and every fault I have encountered can be defeated by reloading.
It is certainly not as broken as the Fallout games were on consoles for me. You probably won't be waiting long to play it since it's a much smoother experience
Of course it has the lowest sales. It only releases today. Were you really expecting it to break AC2s record in a day?
Honestly I just don't like the idea of cloud. I get that you get a bit more power than maybe you have in your system, but I can't stand the idea of paying for things I rent rather than own. Really if we don't get games on either a disc/flash drive or a digital download then the gaming industry is becoming more and more corrupt. When you pay out for a game you expect more than a licence to stream something
xbox 4 6 months followed by RROD. Couldn't resist. Honestly I don't see your point. If you want to play PS2 games get out the PS2, its always going to be better on its original format anyway. But secondly. what are xbox delivering on that's so magical?
If you truly were much of an Xbox gamer you would know it is a dying console. I have been there since release day, I remember when the number of people online was small. And then there was a burst that lasted for a...
I think 2Gb will suffice, the real question is how much VRAM will the card have to back it up? I dont expect anything near a GTX580 etc, not with how both Sony and MS have said the intend to make a profit from day one this time. But I want at least 1GB VRAM, otherwise there is no way next-gen will get the full use of Dx11
Yeah but on youtube if the speed sucks you wait and the video catches up. Onlive you get horrible input lag, and that will ALWAYS be there, there will never be a way to stream a game 1:1 and eve if speeds did increase dramatically, it would be useless since the games size will have grown yet again. This will be an unending process for a very very long time
It was probably for the best
It has 360 printed in the corner of each shot so doubt it. ground textures are too low for PC anyway
Not brand Fanboyism here, To actually specify the issue directly, Nvidia released drivers the day before Skyrim launched, SLI profiling was included. Currently there is no driver for AMD supporting crossfire. So yes your mostly correct about it being a dual GPU issue. However I noticed that when testing an area where I get 30FPS for no explainable reason, My single GPU was only getting 50% usage. So there are two issues playing at hand. One for lack of crossfire support. One bug of the games ...
If your on console, that's kind of because that's as much as the console can do, If you are playing on PC then try editing the line fGrassMinFadeDistance in the .ini and changing the value to around 400.0000, for some reason any tree other than the main type you see everywhere is counted under grass. You could probably push the value higher but that's as far as I have tested it so far
Well its pretty evident on PC, trees, buildings, distant land and even clouds all seem to have an issue, and it appears to be less likely to stick on PC, normally the texture will repair itself fairly fast. The only time I have seen it stick was in a cave, snow covered stone didn't load all the texture layers in one spot
upgraded PhysX in time for batman!! Now we just need DX11 fixed by rocksteady
