499 with stats that are being rumored? 599 bare minimum and that's being generous.
Good review = no comments
Unlike fanboys of the HD twins, Nintendo fans don't care who has the biggest numbers. Mario Galaxy 2 had great graphics and it didn't need HD to achieve them. Same with The Last Story and Xenoblade.
Nintendo makes its system to meet its requirements. The only way the system would be "underpowered" is if it couldn't do the things Nintendo wanted it to.
Nintendo is actually taking its customers finacial situations into account. That is wh...
No corners were cut. People insist on believing in this spec competition between Nintendo and the others that doesn't exist.
Nintendo isn't concerned with what Sony and Microsoft does aside from their copying Nintendo.
Nintendo's goals are to surpass itself. The only console they took into consideration when making the Wii U was the Wii. Other than that, it was all about making it as affordable as possible.
The lower the score the, the more the response.

Is it me or did the Wii U version have effects that aren't in the 360 version? I didn't see as much fog around the ship in the 360 version. The ship itself seems to have better shadow effects on the 360 though though.
The textures on the face during the conversation are clearly higher resolution on the Wii U. You can hardly even see his eyes on the 360 or the crevices in his face because the lighting detail isn't as good.
That is because most third party games suck. The devolopers didn't put enough effort into them.
Why would people be talking up sub par games?
Not that I see what that has to do with this review. This is an indie game that was released on the PC(primary system) and the Wii U.
Now watch this review go mostly ignored in favor of ones with lower scores.
People seem to forget that the Wii U has a GPGPU, not a regular GPU like the PS3 and 360. It can do things on its GPU that CPU's do. That is the trade off for the low clocked CPU.
This dev clearly doesn't know how to program for the CPU and GPGPU in unison.
So this article outright dismiss new controller options as real innovation?
This pure twisted bias I see these days is ridiculous. This is a worthless article.
I expected no less.
My gut instinct told me that White Knight Chronicle was going to be one of the best games I've ever played on the PS3. I shan't be doing that again.
Though, I agree that the numerical scoring system is terrible. Classic game room seems to be the best right now. Well except for when the new guy does reviews.
To many people had the same idea. Serves them right.
Can you get from 0-60 in 5 second with an 18 wheeler?
The things people come up with to bash.
I was 100% certain that Nintendo relied on its "games" not its name.
I'm disappointed a little, but not because of much because of the console.
I'm disappointed because I like games and Nintendo isn't making with them. I don't want any of the games that are out right now on the console.
I'll definitely wait until they release a system that has Miiverse and everything else preloaded.
I don't know where you pulled that from. The PS3 uses XDR and somehing else.
The GC used GDDR3. The Wii used GDDR3. The Samsung documentation for the Wii U says it uses gDDR3.
How they've fudged gDDR3 into plain DDR3 is beyond me.
They seemed to be confused by the the g being little in the documentation, but its still there.
This is misleading news. The listed transfer is lower. That doesn't mean that the RAM in the Wii U under performs the 360/PS3, because the PS3 has faster RAM than the 360 but most 360 games load faster, have more stable frame rates and more special effects. It depends on how the Wii U uses the RAM.
Without info on the architectural differences this is useless information to anyone other than those who want to have number wars. Real world results rarely go according to raw...
Most of them? I must have missed a lot because most of the reviews I've seen have been overwhelmingly positive for everything that isn't a port.
Now where are all of the people who flock like bugs to a torchlight when someone speaks ill of the cpu?
