I don't think this petition will do anything.......simply because I reckon SE are going to remake it eventually anyway though it probably won't be out for a looooong time as they're working on so many projects. The demand is definitely there and I think they know that practically everybody that purchased FFVII would buy it i.e. a ton of people!
I loved FF6 but there's only ever been two RPG's I've played beginning to end FIVE times each and they are FFVII and Xenogears.

Great article and a great response post. I totally agree with you. Developers probably want to make really creative games but are stifled by the worry that it might not sell. Okami is a perfect example. That game is brilliant, but did not sell as well as they would have liked. I really hope that doesn't stop them making great games like that.
I agree with Jenzo and Kewlkat007. I'd rather read articles about the industry like this then stupid articles like game graphic comparisons between two consoles and those extremely stupid rumor stories about a exclusive game going from console to another! Bubbles to both of you!
I also agree with Zhuk about the Dreamcast. Online gaming, that VDU controller thing among other revolutionary things it did. It's a shame it died. Bubble for you too!
