Well, I guess it's goodbye VC if hackers manage to put in emulators....
God almighty!!!!! Surely this has to be the best racing game graphics ever!!! Now I know why it takes Polyphony digital such a long time to create games.....they create masterpieces!!
Damn, you beat me to it with that "No business" remark lol
Well, in a way he's right. Nintendo is currently running things over ther but that is only because the Wii and the DS are much cheaper compared to the PS3 and PSP. If the PS3 came out at the same price of the 360, Sony would of be in a VERY different position. Anyways, I think Sony will make progress eventually especially when FFXII comes out, and if the massively rumored FFVII remake comes out on it, it's curtains!!
However, sorry Peter. At least Sony HAS business in Japan :) ...
LMAO and very true unfortunately
Man......WHY WASN'T I INVITED TO THE BETA?!!!!
sorry, had to get that off my chest :) I really want to play this.
SEGA? Have you sunk soo low? Sonic is meant to be the fastest thing on two legs and you put him up against.............a fat plumber!!! As competition? Putting anybody against Sonic in ANY speed event should be redundant right?
Poor, poor Sega....it's come to this....
I agree with Adamalicious and Bloodmask, they better bring down the price of the 80gb quick, or it'll be real foolish!
However, Peter Moore shouldn't be commenting on the confusion of Sony having too many SKU's since the 360 now has 4!!!:
1: 360 Core
2: 360 Premium
3: 360 Elite
4: Halo 360
I've gotta agree with some people here, if this is true, and if the PS3 doesn't drop it's price before christmas........
......Kaz, you need a slap!
I own a PS3 and it's value was never in question (especially after E3 :)), it's simply people can't afford it. A Ferrari Spider is bloody nice, I want one and I have no doubt in my mind that it's worth how much it costs but.......I CANT AFFORD IT!
I hope that rumor thats floating around about the christmas pri...
Very good post! I reckon you hit the nail on the head about Nintendo and it's shifting focus. A bubble sir :)
Last comment made me laugh and is very true.
@Odiah
I agree that Zelda needing 1:1 control. In fact much of the reason why I first wanted the Wii was that it would for the first time have 1:1 control so it actually felt like you were using a sword....
...of course the truth was far different, which permanently put me off the Wii.
As for Wii fitness, I use Eyetoy Kinetic every day for the Ps2 and I think it's far superior since it actually tracks ALL of your body's movements with the eyetoy. Good for the family also....
Warioware is just minigames aren't they?
Please don't mention Red Steel. That game almost fooled me into thinking that I should buy a Wii.......until I played it.
Nintendo....alright for some, but just not for me and my friends anymore.
By the way @Sidar, it would be in your best interest to retract that last sentence about GTA having sequels because:
How many Mario games have the been?
How many Mega Man games have their been?
...
.
I still don't know what is meant by the term "Hardcore gamer". Does mean someone who plays games morning, noon and night? Because I don't. Please someone enlighten me.
In my opinion, Nintendo lost me after the Nintendo 64. There's only so much Mario, Zelda and Metroid I can stomach before I get bored. I also reckon i've simply "grown out" of those games.
Yes if it wasn't for Nintendo and Sega, we wouldn't be playing on 360's and PS3's but I'm ...
Hmm... I think it depends on a lot of factors. I personally don't think dlc will replace downloadable content:
The price for dlc would have to substantially cheaper than retail.
People don't have infinite hard drive space. Now of course you can get huge hard drives for cheap these days, but I don't think it's feasible to download HD quality movies as that space will fill up REAL fast.
Everybody's internet connection would have to be very fast or yo...
Yep, I agree. I'm also sick of all the Blu-ray articles that are on websites while they have some great games coming out. I obviously appreciate the space it has, but how many Blu-Ray movies do I own? 1...Casino Royale, which Sony was nice enough to send me for free :) Of course, seeing this movie is actually making me think I should buy more films as the quality is outstanding.
But I'm a gamer first, so that's where my money is going initially...it's games :)
The thing that people don't realise is that if they are making a profit in all those areas, they can use the money to ofset some costs. Examples:
If Microsoft has a price drop, Sony will be in a better position to counter with their own in the future (There's already rumors that the PS3 is going to see yet another price drop near Christmas)
They can put more money into game development ala the $20 million that was put into Guerilla Games to make Killzone 2.
I smell a ban coming......
lol @ 360Rulez. Either MS is paying you to say that, or you're just retarded....I'm going for the latter.
Every single website and journalist that saw Killzone in action said that they were impressed. Where in that article did it say that N'Gai wasn't impressed?
In fact, link us to even ONE website that thinks it looks like crap? and so far the gameplay feels cool according to N'Gai who actually played it so you can't even use that card.
There's a BIG difference ...
The IPhone can't send MMS's or allow voice dialling?????
Yeah, i'll think i'll skip this product...
