Madden @ 60fps on the 360? cool. EA can be lazy as hell with all their other sport games and make them all run at 20fps on the PS3 for all I care. I'll still be getting the next NBA game from 2k7 and football from Konami :)

Aww man, not ANOTHER fps! Damn we got a ton already and we've got a ton more still coming out. I reckon most developers are only gonna start making fps's. Don't get me wrong, I like a few of them, but this is getting a bit much.
Great for 360 owners. Yeah, this is old news so no one should be surprised by this. I think that MS didn't pay all that money for a "small" add on. I think it'll be pretty hefty, though as someone above me said, core owners are screwed.
I think my cousin said it best though today when he was deciding what console to buy based on recent events.
Get a 360 and get GTA4 with the option to purchase extra content which could actually be a big addition to the game exp...
In-game ads don't bother me yet and I reckon it could be good for developers to ofset some costs. But what I don't get do the advertisers actually think this is going to work?? I can't imagine me doing a 360 degree crescent moon lightning kick into some big ass demon, who falls through a Burger king billboard then thinking to myself: "You know what, I feel like a whopper right about now"
Okay, not too sound like a dumbass, but if they removed Wifi, won't that stop the psp communicating with the PS3 aka no remote play (which is awesome)

Man, you owe it to yourself to go and purchase Shadow of the Colosus, Okami and God Of War 2 and play it on a PS3. Those games will quickly change your attitude :)

Nah, I gotta disagree with you there. They should keep the design the same. The 360 pad is great......for fps's, thats it. Tried playing Streetfighter and other games and hated it.

You're right, no console (at the moment) deserves loyalty.
But there's no way in hell I would keep buying multiple consoles from the same manufacturer if they all started breaking either, that would be stupid. Like buying the same car multiple times but the engine won't start. Having a Ferrai that doesn't move would be pointless. A console could have all it's games looking like bloody Crysis, but it'd be useless if i couldn't play it regularly

IGN.com have complained that a number of their systems have conked out.
Computerandvideogames.com have had their failed xboxes hit the double figures as well.
