lol Agreed.
@JokesOnYou
Well I still don't agree with you as it's still FAR to early to say it's failed. Maybe the PS3 didn't sell to Sony's expectations but honestly I think they even knew that at that initial price point, there would be trouble. No-one knows the future so I can't say the PS3 will win this "war" but I don't want to look like an idiot and be premature and say it failed because it initially didn't sell well. I still remember my friend when he said that I should ...
My take on Blu-Ray?
I didn't care about it before, but since I got the PS3 I now do obviously. I've got this foolish friend who told me he didn't care about HD media.......yet he owns a 42inch HDTV lol! To be honest, the only reason I bought my HDTV was because of my PS3, which in turn has now made me now want to buy the HD media Blu-ray. Admittedly, I would have never bought a stand alone HD media player as I was happy watching DVD's...
...but since it's included into m...
@Uglygreen you're absolutely right about Unreal, it being number "3" should've been a big clue to me, though I never admittedly played the 2nd one :) Though I did say i'm going out on a limb when I mentioned that lol
Man, I'm really looking forward to this game. It's going to sell bucket loads, mark my words!
You speak the truth! But if I had to go on a limb, I'd say Unreal 3 could be innovative (for an fps) as it has tons of vehicles and has many unusual weapons. I'd also give it to rock band as well. But Bioshock and Crysis?? No way. Because, Bioshock is an extension of the System Shock franchise which I've played and Crysis is a graphic powerhouse but doesn't really do anything THAT innovative
Definition of innovative?

@Fanboi Imagine if MS said "Japanese RPG's suck, we're not making anymore"...they'd know then that their console would be doomed! Think about it: Every western gamer who likes jrpg's and a hell of a lot of Japanese gamers would buy another console over the 360 in a heartbeat. Now you may say to yourself: "Who cares, there can't be that many jrpg fans out there" well that would be totally wrong.
Example?
FFVII sold 9.5 million copies.
...
Good for you!
@Bloody Sinner: Actually I'm not because I like other genres as well. I just don't want to be stuck playing the same genre over and over again. I really used to love fps's.....now I'm bored as I've played far too many and want something different. I don't want just one specific title to come out as buying a console for one title is a complete waste of money in my eyes. I didn't buy a PS3 for just one game like Killzone or Final Fantasy or Gran Turismo or Tekken. I bought it because I want all...
@NewZealander :Hmmm......well since you asked: Oblivion is already out. As for which RPG's are coming out well.....
Folklore
FFXIII
FFXIII versus
Star Ocean 4
Free Realms
White Knight Story
Angel Wings
There's at least 3 big hitter rpgs in that list.
....and remember, the PS3 still isn't even a year old yet....
I read the comments underneath in the article by 360 owners......very interesting. Most of the comments said things like:
"I didn't buy a 360 for JRPGS",
"Why bother playing Blue Dragon when Halo 3 is round the corner",
"...Its a niché title at best especially for the UK 360 market who basically love there FPS/Driving games" and
"Doesn't appeal to 360 base"
Now, I know this ...
Yeah I gotta agree with hotshot1237, it's funny how people forget about how slow the PS2 sold and how everyone thought it would fail. Now it's the best selling console....and STILL selling! Interestingly enough, the PS3 has sold more than the PS2 in the same period and I think everyone knows it hasn't sold brilliantly because of the price, which will slowly come down. Like someone above me said, the PS3 just came out at the end of March in Europe, how on earth can you say it's failing already...
@The Mart....Get a bloody life..
lol @ Bladestar, please do not even start typing nonsense about Shysun mentioning the PS3 in a 360 thread, or I'll REALLY make you look stupid and quote many comments that you have posted doing the EXACT same thing with the 360!
Damn, I actually liked Enter the Matrix lol. Reviewers didn't give it really crap scores (Well IGN gave it a 7.2 which is decent) Or is because it didn't get a a 9 or something?
Another reason why I don't take reviewers opinions as gospel.
Yeah, i have to agree with this. I never was one for online gaming until the next gen systems came along. The swearing and the abuse I hear is annoying. That's why I reckon it's best to play offline most of the time or I don't put in my headset unless it's with friends I know. Games just ain't as fun when dealing with this nonsense you definitely don't want to put up with it once you've spent £60 on a bloody game!
That's the problem with online, you allow all the pricks yo...
Completely agree with you man.
@Urban bohemian, sorry but your logic about people wouldn't buy a remake of an old game is flawed. Look how many people have been buying the Final Fantasy remakes on the DS, PSP and PS2 (FF anthology) They sold VERY well and they didn't really get that much of an upgrade, can you imagine if they went to town on the PS3?! If FFVII remake does come out, it WILL sell bucket loads! Every reviewer and journalists knows that and some have even stated that (IGN). Remember, some people believe that F...
It's a shame, but looking at how great Warhawk is and the recognition Incognito is going to get from this game, they should see staff flock to them! They deserve it as Warhawk is truly brilliant.
You need balls the size of King Kong's to go up against GT5, PGR4 and Need For Speed Pro Street. I wish them good luck....
....they're gonna need it.
