I'll never say a game is crap without playing it first just because someone says they do not like the controls. I learnt that lesson a few years ago when one of my friends bought Wipeout and complained saying the controls were crap and he kept bumping into the sides like a pinball. I got the same game, practiced, and the Wipeout series has become one of my best games ever!

So it seems the quicker you learn the controls, the better you'll like the game. It's the only thing anyone has a problem with. I salute them for not being scared to try something new and I'm gonna make sure I master the controls so I can enjoy this title to it's fullest.

Exactly. There's no way in hell that i'll fork out for ANOTHER high def player and all of my friends think the same. If the films don't come out on Blu-Ray, i'll just get the DVD version. Simple

I agree with everyone who said that it can't be the best game of all time. Like someone said, there's far too many genres to consider. It may get the title as the best FPS of all time but even that's a little hard to swallow as I'm sure Doom, Half Life, Duke Nukem or even Crysis would be great candidates.
One thing that is interesting to note, I wonder how Halo 3 reviews will match up to this exceptional game I have yet to play. I've got a feeling it wont score nowhere near as ...
A game doesn't have to be "AAA" to be a great game. Everybody's golf is certainly not an AAA game yet it sold bucket loads. Okami got brilliant reviews and I thought it was stunning, yet didn't sell well. I do hope this is good though as I miss playing Panzer dragoon and Drakenguard games.
