They did PC gaming before Xbox
I'm a fan of the original and I'm still looking forward to it. I just hope its good. I don't care whether its online focused or not. All that matters is that they deliver.
Not surprised about the former two. I'm surprised at Mario and Sonic not selling.
There has always been both serious and comical themes in GTA. I hope they never change that.
It should be him and his daughter. She played ball too.
I stand corrected.
All that isn't going to mean anything if it looks like a PS3/360 game. There needs to be a balance.
Devs aren't going to prioritize it because it doesn't sell games. Graphics sell games. Most gamers don't know what a frame rate is.
Then get a PC. Devs aren't going to prioritize frame rate on console because it doesn't sell games. Graphics do.
Fast paced, arcade competitive game. They've been around for a long time.
Sony and MS have always been friendly. Its the fanboys that aren't.
The One X is still an Xbox One. The Series X is not. The One X was far from held back. Boasting 16x anti aliasing, 4k textures, better lighting, and an option for 60 fps on some games.
Yes. I’ve admitted that there were occasions where the Xbox was holding the PS4 back.
Yes. MS and Sony have done it in generations past. For the life of me I can understand why people are acting like cross gen games are something new.
The concern is understandable but unfounded. Until we know whether this holds the SX back and to what extent, it's all speculation. Imo, I don't think MS would spend all that money on such a powerful console just for them not to take advantage of it.
Exhibit A.
For at most a year and a half into each gen you have cross gen games. The fact that people are acting like forward compatibility is anything new shows how far down the rabbit hole of console wars people have gone.
They are treating the Xbox consoles like PCs. Right now the One X is it's high end version. The original is it's low end and when the SX realeases it will be the new high end version while the One X will be it's mid end version.
I'm not disputing that. No one brought up sales. I simply stated that MS and Sony games are hard to compare cause you get two completely different experiences out of them. For the sake of your argument, yes more people tend to gravitate towards the more cinematic story games. What I'm saying some will find more value in one type of game over the other. Whatever type game that may be.
Microsoft isn’t competing with Sony though. Not as a whole. When it comes to the battle of cloud infrastructures, OS, PCs, etc, Sony doesn’t have their hat in those rings.
