Majority of people do not buy games for its exclusives. You guys have to stop putting the mindset of hardcore fans of consoles into casual gamers. The draw of consoles is it being the easiest, cheapest entry point to playing the latest games. Majority of which are not first party.

8k is just to future proof the console. If 8k content ends up becoming more popular in the next 10 years, they want the consoles compatible. Devs are not going to be prioritizing it this gen.

My Walmart doesn't even carry game and music CDs anymore. You just get a digital code on a card. Its inevitable when the big chain stores are doing away with discs.

I’ve never seen a dev rag on a console they were making an exclusive for. Chill, devs do the same for Sony and Nintendo.
Keep that same energy for third party games launching with PlayStation marketing rights.
