A proper remaster, not just random PR jargon to make it sound more than it is.
It is going to happen maybe around the ps6, atm people cannot see beyond a high end physical device sat in their room but in 10+ years when a new group of gamers move up that will most likely change as they will accept it more. Plus technology will have advanced a lot by then.
Great to see Microsoft putting their money into boosting third party games with the amount of support they seem to be offering these developers.
Yeah I am hoping this comes to next gen, unity is just back to the boring basics for the franchise from what we've seen so far.
There are many who hate 3d because of wearing "sunglasses"indoors, so it is a very real problem for pushing this into mainstream gaming.
Using Motion controllers while being completely oblivious of your surroundings sounds like a recipe for disaster also.
Plays very smoothly, my eyes haven't noticed any framerate drops and that's ultimately all that matters.
Good to see Microsoft getting behind developers and helping to push the hardware by supporting them. Been playing for a while and it's a great step up from the older last gen version.
It was a nice tech demo teaser, great way to get people talking and nice to see something more original than a few secs clip, cannot see any reason to criticise it.
Not sure we will get any major aaa kinect games but maybe some indie developers will make something innovative with it. Kinect sports was such an uninspired game.
Smartglass just keeps getting better hopefully one day in the not too distant future it will do game streaming.
The cost of a yearly subscription is perfectly priced, very hard to resist. Will be interesting to see how much loving the vault gets over the next few months.
If they put the Microsoft money to good use to make the game better than what it would have been then good move, if someone high up just pockets it then not so good.
As soon as they said they would be supporting current gen versions with the latest patches I went and preordered, cannot wait.
Would be a day one purchase for me, underground was by far my favourite need for speed franchise.
I actually played this game on PC with the xbox controller and it worked quite good after macroing a few keys together. I don't see why it's technically difficult to port onto the current gen as they would be more than powerful enough, it's probably due to licensing issue and projected sales why it's not being done more than anything else.
Xbox is always the underdog, they have to fight hard for every inch, the big difference this time around is they made the error of thinking they weren't the underdog at the start.
Stream tv to smart glass looks like being a nice feature, now all we need is for them to take the final jump so we have stream games to smart glass.
Among the less hardcore fans it will sway some people, especially over a holiday season as it is the time of giving and there will be those parents and grandparents etc making the purchases that could easily be swayed by a big name exclusive at time of purchase. Marketing is a powerful tool also, any fanboy is testimony to that.
Very good seeing 64bit gaming starting to take off more, we were stuck on 32bit games for way too long.
I already have a good desktop PC but I might pick one of these steam machines up or build my own in about two years, at which point it will blow the current consoles out of the water in terms of power and at a very decent price point.
