This game ticks so many of the boxes that I personally look for in a racing game, they really did do a great job open world, great graphics, loads of sweet cars, events and really good handling. My dream racing game would be this but themed around need for speed underground.
This game has got much better reviews than I thought it would, I really expected it to be crap. But now it's looking like being one to add to the purchase list.
I really like these games because of the couch coop but they make them way too fast, we already have hobbit, marvel and the movie this year and now we are getting this. Personally I find it's just too much. Saying all that I will still probably go out and buy this game at some point if a new one hasn't already come out by then in which case I will buy that one.
That 8gb is shared on consoles so it has to do a lot more than just the graphics, after the os takes it's chunk games only have about 5gb max on the ps4 and that still isn't all dedicated to graphics as the game needs a good amount for the other processes that make up a game.
Shadow of mordor for me this week, it is a hard call between this and horizon 2 but if I get both I will end up being overwhelmed and not fully playing either.
It has been a decent year and it's not over yet with some really promising titles still to arrive. The problem is that next year is set up to be so amazing and in comparison this year doesn't come close.
The game looks really good, but it looks like one of those games that is fun for a few hours and then that's it. It just seems to be a little shallow in terms of the actual gameplay of build, ride, destroy, new high score then repeat. They need to have some extra bits going on, unless it's going to be priced in the indie game range.
Aye the remote play on this thing is just too good, anyone with a ps4 and a spare tv needs to have this thing.
Sunset overdrive and MCC are going to get hyped like crazy over the next few months the difference being I think these two will actually live up to the hype.
I really wish this game was coming out within the next few months, would have been great over the holidays.
