If it's successful sooner or later someone will come and buy it, not the first or last time it will happen Microsoft just beat everyone else to the punch this time around if it happens.
The big thing with consoles though is it's not about what they can do now, but what they can do in 6-7 years time from now. The last gen consoles were extremely good and had some very good tech when they launched, they impressed from the start right up until the end. Can this gen do that? Atm there's not been anything released that blows you away to the extent that some of the early last gen games did.
It never was top of the line hardware though to start with, all of them have cheaped out this gen prioritising day one profits per system sold instead of just taking the game sales fees for the first few years. That's not to say the hardware overall is bad, it just could have been a whole lot better.
When I initially heard of destiny it sounded like being a serious version of a borderlands mmo, lots of loot and other stuff to keep you playing for weeks and months. It's a good game if you take it for what it is but it isn't that type of game.
Great game
The quality of indie games is improving everyday.
A collection of all of the uncharted games bundled together and lovingly remastered would be great, especially before the next one comes out.
Maybe you should properly read someone's comment before typing such a reply.
@the disagrees "it'll be okay" is not the same as "I'll be okay", sorry if you cannot grasp that.
Good to see telltale games arriving on the new gen of consoles.
If it's good and the developer wants to do it then it will come to xbox, if it's crap then it won't.
If you want buttons on your iPhone then you can get all sorts of different contollers for it now.
My box developed a scratching noise that got louder over time, they replaced it very quick and the new one is much quieter.
It might be hard to get the tech inside a phone or tablet to reach the current best spec PC or console but when you start introducing game streaming that no longer matters and connectivity is king, if we get decent mobile data connections on decent plans then the future is very bright for mobile gaming.
It's massively overhyped but if they release content at a frequent and consistent rate it will end up quite good, it is really up to them to support it now.
It's going to be a struggle to get the average console gamer to buy the vr tech, anything that doesn't come bundled with the console from day one is a hard sell. Maybe Sony will hold onto it until next gen.
Very clever pr work. Love it or hate it, Microsoft wins either way.
I really hope it is good as I love this type of game.
Very unlikely, especially after gta5 gets released onto the new consoles.
Most pirates will download it, play for 20mins and move on.
It was down for about 5 mins for me, then back up and no problems since.
