This whole article should be marked as trolling, only on n4g would it be allowed. The demanding for 1080p 60fps for ps4 is completly unrealistic at this point.
They already said its because of the CPU, yes CPUs are still important for running games ...shocker. Optimising code takes time and money, they release a game every year its not hard to see the problems there and why its not worth beating the wardrums and throwing hissy fits over.
This game has hit the try before you buy level, from the reviews it's clearly not a game for everyone.
I watched a gameplay video of this and it did look very good, will be one to get at some point.
Seems like it's fallen into the ryse trap, graphics over gameplay. Will still sell like crazy because it's the only exclusive racing game on the ps4 and one of the few aaa exclusives coming this holiday on that console.
I haven't bought a gaming mag for about 2 years, it's sad but they are just not as useful as they once were both in terms of content and to fill toilet time.
Yeah the CPUs in these new consoles are very underwhelming, any PC builder can tell you the horrors of the bottleneck. Only work around is more optimising and that costs money which they obviously decided wasn't financially worth it on this years game.
Personally I really like the Microsoft lineup, on the ps4 the only one I am really wanting is LBP. Got both consoles so I won't have to miss out anyways so no big deal to me ;)

This is such a great game, glad it has sold so well as we are now much more likely to get a second one.
After playing shadow of mordor i don't think i will be picking this one up and will wait until next years assasins creed game. I really enjoyed black flag but this one is just underwhelming, especially after playing shadow of mordor.
When we get dx12 and tiled resources and the such then that will take a big load off the ram, if it wasn't for these upcoming improvements expected in both consoles we might have had a bit of trouble later in the gen when we start seeing the next gen large world skyrim type of games.
Limiting to just a top ten is so hard from last gens if you are including all consoles, even ranking them is difficult. Last gen we were so spoilt for choice as gamers, there were just so many good games. Mario galaxy, mass effect, fallout, batman, unchartered, TLOU, gears, red dead, Alan wake, little big planet, gta, halo, skyim, bio shock, far cry, etc, etc, etc. the list goes on and on and that doesn't even include all the great PC games.
I would love to see lots of realistic snow in games this gen.
I would have thought being old it would have appealed to you more, unless you are not an old time gamer, personally I find it a nice throwback to a time when games weren't to be taken so serious like the old days. Today it's all about the realistic graphics and gritty stories.
Seems like they got lucky with a big cash injection from the impulse sale and are now happily spending it on golden toilets and yoga classes for the office and staff, what could possibly go wrong. Seriously though I hope galciv 3 will be great because it really needs to be after elemental.

I picked this game up on the PC at time of release and it was great, yes it had its problems here and there but overall this was a very special memorable game with some very interesting elements.
Announcing the new 3ds before the holiday season and then having a limited launch that is only japan and then Australia is crazy, a company of their size should be able to get into a lot more countries quickly. It's just one example of how Nintendo seem to be stuck in the past.
Being released today 7-8 is about right, if it had released last year as a launch title then it would have been an 8-9. We are spoilt for choice with racer games this year so lots of competition atm.
