But Looking at my game box and having played Gears I was at the impression that it only allowed 2 player local Co-op. As this article is about local co-op and quality of such types of games.
You have a lot of what I call party games that allow 4 player co-op through campaign but they are mostly limited to smaller non-FPS/Non-splitscreen co-op like Castle Crashers or Fairy Tale Figh...
Try reading the article and not just assuming what it might say.
People might need to read the article before they judge it. The title is misleading and doesn't represent a single thought that Gears is the only co-op shooter out there.
He references many of the games mentioned in replies here and just simply states that each is lacking in some way with how his experience with Gears LOCAL Co-op.
He laments on how he hasn't been able to feel the same experience that he had with Gears on the other co-op games. And...

You might want to actually READ the quote you put in your post. It doesn't state that 360 has a good line up this year. It states that 360s lineup at the moment (which would consist of its entire line up... not just this year) looks slightly stronger than Sony's. THEN it goes and says that "2011 definetly looks set to catapult PS3 ahead" meaning that the author thinks that PS3 has the better lineup appearing for 2011 NOT 360.

Yea... it does help that when you watch the video you can see how the doctor manipulates the xray on the screen so that he can see different levels of the scan. Looks to me like someone really took advantage of the software/hardware and made good use out of it.

I am just assuming that it allows them to manipulate and view the image without having to put their hands directly onto any device to do so.

You might need to work on your arithmetic. Are you saying that you have purchased 100 exclusive games for your PS3 in the last 2- 3 years and didn't like 1 game? I wasn't aware that PS3 had 100 exclusives for the PS3 in the last 3 years?
It had 4 player co-op but not in the campaign local I don't think. I could split my screen on my local gameplay with another person but had to be online with others/or lan to get 4 players in a campaign I think.
