That was just her diplomatic way of saying the 360 audience has been switching to PS this gen. She didn't want to hurt your feelings. The rest of us knew what she meant.
@thexmanone
That's that bull, right there. What you just did. What's with offering a minority OPINION to counter the FACT that PS4 has more games?
You notice the difference better when you wipe the tears from your eyes.
No. That has an impact, but it was the memory cards and price that killed it. No one wants to spend that much on a handheld these days, with mobile phones dominating. Then to have to buy high priced proprietary memory cards... Give the thing an SD card slot and the PS+ games alone can justify the cost. Free games galore! But trying to download those titles on the proprietary cards will have you picking the lent out of your pockets.
I have a gaming PC. I also buy consoles. And when I'm in the market for a console, one of the things that factors into my decision is performance. Why is that so hard to understand?
@nix
In fairness, we don't know what the PS4 version will look like, yet. But you are right about the problem people are having with this. It wold be a lot easier to move on if the first comment in these types of articles wasn't some off-topic declaration that the subject doesn't matter.
Seeing a lot of "Uncharted MP" false equivalencies. If there were two copies of Uncharted, same game, same price, but one was 1080p/60fps, the vast majority of those in the know are going to grab the 1080p/60fps copy. Of course it matters.
@Ron_Danger
In fairness, the direct quote was, "And we think we'll continue to be competitive this holiday in our top markets with the offerings that we have,"
So he did qualify his remarks about being competitive.
One of the true gems that were still dropping on PS2 after the release of PS3.
@beans
Hatred was essentially a murder simulator cobbled together from real life incidents, right down to the clothing. Those parallels are apparent. I don't think such comparisons can just be dismissed because it isn't a recreation of a specific event, especially if you aren't playing as the murderer in this 9/11 VR game.
@spicelicka
True, people aren't really calling for censorship (from what I've seen). But the overall tone of the conversation is markedly different than the discussion surrounding other games, like Hatred.
@jcc737
Nice how you tried to flip it so that you're the wronged party. Way to own your mistake. There's a difference between being "wrong" and proceeding from that point to attack not only those posting the numbers but the wider community (even though you were corrected before you even went on your tangent). Your admission did not address that aspect of your commentary, you stealth edited your original comment to remove those particular comments, and receiv...
"Well I can admit when I'm wrong..."
Then why the stealth edit, removing your comments attacking people here as "the worst fanboys" who don't want "truth"?
Edit: (See how that works?) And those same fans turn around and give you a "well said," likely because they only saw your edited comment. You should be big enough to apologize not just for being factually wrong but for what you said about the people here.
Metacritic scores are not an objective measure of quality, either. They are nothing but a narrower selection of the wider subjective opinions of the gaming population. While also true of critics of other forms of entertainment, it especially deserves recognition in an industry where there is little distinguishing critic from average consumer.
It would. Then I wouldn't have to worry about replacing my fat PS3 with another fat one if it dies. I could go slim and use PS4 for PSX/PS2 bc.
Your exact comment, verbatim, without the trolling revision:
"Is the new one they announced today a spin off? Loved the GT series but the last few haven't been up to scratch especially with the physics, hoping the PS4 GT Sport can change that"

@raiden11 and TricksterArrow
You two are way overthinking a throw away joke. Don't be that guy/gal.
Hard to deny it didn't steal at least some of that thunder, if you understand the metaphor you used. Halo didn't even make the hottest articles now and today, aside from this article.
I agree, in terms of immediate effect. The payoff will come when everything announced before the hardcore crowd today starts getting marketed to more casual consumers.
The same way MS knows Halo 5 pulled in $400 million in games AND hardware, how many shots were fired, the number of turns made in Forza, how many unique users logged into Xbox Live, and all the other trivia they've been using to obfuscate or avoid sales. Funny you didn't call "marketing bs" on that.
