Isn't it? If anything having that PC base there might inject life into a game's sales, like what SE is doing releasing TR on PC early. It's good to know that option exists for Kojima's next outing, though he's releasing on PS4, and that fanbase is pretty good about supporting a variety of titles.

I already knew cross-play has been featured between PC and consoles as far back as Final Fantasy XI. I spoke to this being the first time it's been done for Street Fighter, the king of fighting games. I'm happy for you and all, but those other titles didn't really have anything...

I did add "etc." Street Fighter V isn't really a surprise though. That's one of those titles you expect to hit PC. It was only really surprising because of where it didn't go. Kind of the inverse of Shenmue. Of all the platforms you'd think it would end up on, considering the ones the last iteration released for, it's a bit surprising to see it go to PS4.

Like a Hazno Hattori sword, Uncharted has entered that territory where it isn't compared to other games; it's compared to itself. So your "meh" Uncharted is a masterpiece by normal standards.
At least you're doing your part to support games on your system. The PS4 fanbase has shown it will throw its support behind the treasure hunting, 3rd person, adventure genre, along with more niche offerings, so no worries if you want to prioritize your support where it's more needed.
Not excruciating at all. PS has too rich a history to be so bold as to call early 2016 the greatest games lineup in PS history—or to even call Uncharted Naughty Dog’s greatest IP without arousing controversy—but I’m sure if gamers found enough to play on PS4 to make it the bestselling system for hardware and software in November, they’ll find plenty to keep them occupied in 2016 until Uncharted releases.

Yup. The PC is really being shown some love this gen, with whatever greatness Kojima is planning joining such games as Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Project Spark, Ori and the Blind Forest, Killer Instinct, Fable Legends, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc.

Yes, but MGS2 didn't release on OG Xbox until the substance edition, a year after the respective PS2 releases, and PS2 later got that edition as well. MGS3 didn't release on 360, at all, until a remastered version was included in the Metal Gear Solid HD collection 7 years later. I'll say that again: 7 years later.

No it didn't. It came in last. Not surprising considering PS3 was winning the sales war between them. You and others were just deceived because the 360 had a year head-start that the PS3 had to chip away at in addition to beating whatever numbers 360 was currently doing.
