Yup. You wonder who falls for such obvious PR. Then you read through the comments and see people touting MS' "momentum" as the end of PS4 dominance... as if PS4 didn't outsell Xbox that month.
@DontHate
If Sony cut the price of PS4 due to poor sales (Read the article you linked to see the flaw in that theory.), how would you characterize Xbox sales this entire time?
Right now what you have is one centralized service for deals, in PS+. Were EA Access to take off, across consoles, it could encourage more publishers to branch off and offer their own brand specific rivals to PS+. This would dilute the value of PS+ (bad for Sony), though consumers would still have to pay for PS+ to play all the Maddens and what not online, while also having to pay a sub for the various publishers' subscriptions which used to all be under the one PS+ umbrella (bad for the ...
Just like you spoke up instead of trying to scapegoat televisions and cable setups for Resolution Gate, right?
"The X box 360 supported 1080P. Why wouldn't X Box 1. It really depends on your TV been full HD and you using a HDMI cable."

"PS4 fans should be more vocal in all honesty, but they seem to like paying for extras."
Like you are about Xbox? Because you speak out on Xbox failings rather than blame Sony fans, right?
"I think NeoGaf should be ignored and forgotten. Sony fans spreading false information again.
"COD is running at 1080P and 60 frames on XB1 this was announced by infinity ward back in June. Those Sony fans need to get their facts strai...
"Unless you're one of the rich kids who wouldn't have been able to empathize with Biggie when he rapped about having to choose between the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis..."
His problem wasn't having a choice.
Or like losing the entire developer of a franchise, am I right?
"I don't need to cite links because I agree with you... Phil is singing a different tune."
OMG. Really?! I hope you get down bubbled for every troll comment you made today. All of that just to agree Phil backpedaled?
@The Commentator
That's one of the most egregious straw man arguments I've seen in a while.
@Death
You can count however you want to count, but be prepared to be rightfully called out for doing so in a biased fashion to artificially bolster one lineup compared to the other. Show me one comment where you were counting PS Now games toward the PS4 lineup prior to the announcement of 360 bc. But now you want us to count 360 games. Did you take that same stance with the last gen systems?
@XanderZane
Do you know what a AAA game is? Because by your metric, Resogun is AAA.
@Death
Has it gotten that bad? Counting 360 games? So when PS gamers start adding Now titles to the total count, are we going to hear "Sony gamers do it too," or will we correctly point the finger at those who started us down this road?
Nix is making a distinction between fact and opinion because the latter is often used to obscure the former, concerning PS's lineup. So if facts don't support critics of Sony's lineup, what do they have t...
@showtimefolks
I'm a PS4 gent, but no one cares about shipped, for good reason. It's not interchangeable with sold through. If retailers don't move those units there's just a bunch of shipped units sitting in a warehouse somewhere, waiting for a price cut to move. Not at all saying that's the case with PS4. Just pointing out why sold through numbers are given more consideration than shipped.
That analogy doesn't fit. They aren't worried about brand recognition with the controllers. 1) Most people are able to just look at a controller and tell what it is. 2) Every system comes with a dual shock, so even the most casual consumer will quickly catch on to what controller they need for their system.
@Snookies12
When you're more concerned with addressing the person addressing preujudice than the actual prejudice. SMH.
Really? Because I just bought one of those games a few weeks ago. Can't be that crappy if I'm willing to buy outright.
What I was thinking. Seems like a price grab wrapped around legitimate reasons.
"They are essentially almost the same point for point."
I'd rather pay my one PS+ subscription than see the model devolve into a bunch of competing services, each with their own subscription.
"I want both systems to get better. Being inspired by another is not a wrong."
That's what console wars should be about. But it only works if people are honest about liking certain features of another console. Blindly apologizing for a brand gains nothing.
"2016 should be sonys year to truly shine sales wise."
That's not bias. It's a prediction supported by this gen's sales history.
