I guess they were too lazy to find out what Hugh Laurie's name actually was.
Spoiler alert!!!
Barbarian on top of a defeated Diablo? ;)
It all started with the movie, the Fly! :O
You should have played it on something other than the baby setting ;)
I doubt that 360 owners "won't" buy Final Fantasy XIII. I'm pretty sure that Square Enix has been doing quite a bit of research into the subject. Companies do their best to ensure that they'll make money out of any situation. They've already released Lost Odyssey on the Xbox and I'm sure they used the sales data from that to determine whether or not to release Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox as well.
Wow.. .poor Steven Colbert is so afraid of having his comments not seen that he replied to the first post even though his statement was unrelated to the post.
I bet Sony uses may Microsoft products. There are very few businesses today that don't.
I hope Nintendo takes notes from the criticisms they're received on the Wii:
Rechargeable battery system for their controllers.
Hard drive.
Better online service.
No friends codes.
Ability to run newer tech games.
I thought the reason that Carmack prefers the Xbox 360 was pretty clear. It's takes less time and effort to get the Xbox 360 to do what is necessary to make a good game.
For any software development business, that is what counts. Time is money and you can say as much as you want about lazy developers, but it will cost more to make a game for the PS3 than it will for the 360.
Microsoft wants exclusive things but they are content to copy everyone else. How about doing something original? Xbox Live was worth paying for when there was no competition. But they've been resting on their laurels and falling back on the "Xbox Live is worth paying for" argument too long.
Xbox Live is nothing more than an "instant messenger" engine tacked onto their console. It was hardly an innovation when they first started charging for it on the original Xbo...
Well Microsoft has already proven that they can't compete against Sony in the media arena. Charging a "per disc" royalty to developers publishing for your console is completely retarded if your competition can fit games on 1 disc compared to your requiring 3-4 discs for the same space.
Quite personally I'm surprised Square-Enix has decided to release for the 360 considering the size of their games.
I guess people were getting sick and tired of buying backgrounds ...
I think this is being done for all Live users who have been with the system since the beginning.
Sony's ninjas are too busy trying to get Home to work.
The Wii has a line of games "different" than my PC?
I was at EB Games the other day and I saw like 15 games out for the Wii that were basically flash games that I have played on my PC... for free... in a web browser, and I didn't have to pay 20-40 dollars for either.
Theoretically, if you remove enough features from the product, you could be finished before you started. :)
Forget 3D Pong.... I'm still waiting for 6D pong.

I really liked the last Appleseed movie I saw... the one with the mind-control cell phones. :)
Fallout has just a wee bit, ok tons more depth to it than Haze and Lair combined.
Well if you really wanna be nasty about it. Microsoft was the first company to "standardize" online gaming communications with Directplay being part of Direct X. That was before Dreamcast actually funny thing you should try to use the Dreamcast to "discredit" microsoft. The dreamcast ran on a Microsoft CE OS.
Pray tell... what exactly has Sony done that's been innovative lately? Rip off Second Life? Rip off Nintendo's motion control? Give you trophies?
Yikes! Microsoft stated that the dashboard update would be part of the "Fall" update. So... when's the first day of fall? September 21 or something like that? I think we still have a ways to wait.
