Seems like an "obvious" article to me. That said... Resogun and its new DLC is extremely enjoyable.
I agree with him about Infamous, playing through the game it felt very short but once you're in the world of Seattle, it's an amazing visual experience and the abilities make it a hell of a lot of fun to traverse the environment.
Most anticipated new game for me this year... Very happy PS4 owner.
Just because there are games that are native 1080p doesn't mean the ESRAM is "easy to code for", etc.
It is more difficult to code/dev for ESRAM, it is more of a "bottleneck" (for lack of a better word) than what PC's/PS4 currently are using. That said, it's not impossible to use the X1's capabilities to make a solid graphical performance from a game.

This is awesome... but still something that should have existed from the beginning. Especially with VC games on both systems (i.e. NES games).
Hopefully they do this and I can play the GBA games on my 3DS instead of the Gamepad.

I do love, and should add, the NES Remixes, those are a lot of fun to play.
I agree, great game. But they RUINED the character unlock system. That added so much longevity to other MK titles. Doing odd ends and tasks to get a character would have been much better than the random unlock system they have.
I have every character before I've beaten all the cups on 150cc. All there is to play for is (3) gold car parts and the mirror cups.

I prefer casual gamer as opposed to calling myself a "real" gamer. Seems more fitting.
People who play FPS yearly, FIFA, Madden, and then insert your occasional GTA or something are normally more "casual". They don't achievement or trophy hunt, they may not play a lot of indies. Their time isn't largely vested in games.

But to ignore the quality between the two is ignorance. Sure 1080p v 900p v w/e the lower resolutions are on X1 isn't a "game breaker". These numbers are, however, indicative of a "better/stronger" console and a "worse/weaker" console. You cannot deny that it's there.

This isn't something new... I can't be the only one who played the Uncharted series and loved them because it seemed ND said: "I want to PLAY a movie". That's how uncharted plays, to me. The intense, edge of your seat moments are done by me playing the game. Whether it's solving a hard puzzle or slaying a horde of enemies, or rescuing an injured Ellie, etc. That's personally why I enjoy the series.

Well... I have the most games for 3DS/Wii U, but it's been out longer.
PS4, Wii U, PS3, & 3DS... sold my 360 earlier this year for a cheap PS3 (needed a blu ray player and $100 PS3 is a way better option)
I'd say for exclusives, and this would depend on what you like, the best systems are the PS4, Wii U and 3DS. I can fully understand why some wouldn't enjoy Nintendo franchises though.

Better story-wise than gameplay-wise. Of course, I played HL 7 years after release and HL2 about 2/3 years after it was out.
Very good games and worth a play. Probably similar to TLOU for new PS owners in that if you didn't play HL/HL2 in it's prime, it's hard to appreciate them for what they are (were).
I think when TLOU:RM comes out we will see A LOT of gamers post about how it's a great game but all the hype they heard about best all time...
