I'm sure it has done just fine. Tomb Raider hasn't been a system seller in quite some time so I don't know why some people (mostly fanboy trolls)keep saying it is a failure because it hasn't hit a million sales in its first month out.
Most of those would be gamers who only own a PS4

Normally I would agree, but there are soooo many Sony fanboys out there. I know full well there are lame MS fanboys too, but I have noticed an upswing in the Sony camp. All of it is pathetic, but just so much coming from Sony trolls. Don't get so defensive over it or you will just be labeled the same as all those other fanboys. This guy did make one or two valid points and wasn't insulting with his point of view. that's why I don't consider him a fanboy.

Just because a system isn't the "number one" selling system doesn't mean it isn't selling well... The Z1 sales is "unprecedented" because the X1 is still selling better than the 360 did at the same point in time after release...and the 360 sold amazingly well! Its great the PS4 is on fire, but that doesn't mean the X1 is selling poorly. A complete 180 from that when it comes right down to it!
Right now, and for the over a year now the X1 has been coming out with good to great exclusives at a fairly regular basis. Been a great system! If it didn't launch with the Kinect at $100 more than the PS4 for the first half year the overall console sales would be much closer. Regardless, a great system!
Thoroughly enjoying the X1! Maybe I will enjoy the PS4 when more/better games(exclusives) come out for it... Not knocking the system but there really aren't many exclusives I want for the PS4. Bloodborne probably being the only one. When the new Uncharted is launched next year that might change my mind and I may get the system. We'll see. Right now very happy with the X1! It's got the games I want!
I own an X1 and enjoy it! I will give props to Sony for making a very straight forward console though. With that, both consoles are a bit under powered. That doesn't bother me too much. I'm enjoying the games and that is the most important thing.

Maybe if Nintendo offered up DK country and Didi Kong racing as well as the original Goldeneye (If Nintendo has the rights) to the X1, MS may be more inclined to allow the game to show up on Nintendo consoles.
Rare doesn't have much of a say in this since MS owns the company which means everything on the game, MS has the rights to forever or until they sell it.

Im fine with that as long as DK country, the original Goldeneye and Diddy Kong racing will be allowed to come to the X1.
That's not bad at all, especially with the other games released the past month...and still two weeks before Christmas. With all the doom and gloom fanboy articles written about this I was expecting less. By this time next year the game will most likely have sold a million each on both 360 and X1.
that's true... Personally, for me there just aren't enough PS exclusives I like that make it worth the price... That may change next year when Uncharted is released though.

So according to the article Sony themselves stated they sold more than X1 in November. Is there any other sources for official numbers just not guess work?
When the game is in full motion you won't see much. Still shots? Maybe, if you scrutinize enough.
Who knows? Newer gamers only seem concerned with resolution and resolution only. They would rather scrap the lighting, shading and particle effects to have a few line of extra resolution that they will not even notice...If they don't get it, they cry like the children they are. Maybe next gen, or Nintendo's new rumored system will be able to do it all....Maybe.
