lol....the 360 cannot even play crysis 1 from 2007 properly, same with ps3, covered in jaggies, horrible draw distance, awful performance, bad shadows
the response was a joke and its probably user error and not the engines fault, im quite sure sli will be very efficient in crysis 3
got em both from steam direct for the same price and snagged deadlight off amazon for $3 all in the same 48 hour period

consoles always end up doing what pc has been doing for years while they sat stagnant
so i totally see free to play with microtransactions making their way on to consoles next gen
some games abuse it, others are really cool
blacklight retrobution, planetside 2, tribes asend and many others are all great games that you can play for 40 hours and never spend a dime, personally though, when a dev makes something that good, i feel obligated ...

the pc/ps4/xboxnext version will all be much higher res, better performance and better anti aliasing, but will be largely the same games as the ps3/360/wii u versions
now i KNOW i can wait for this game to be $5 on a steam sale this halloween or sooner
was considering grabbing this, but now....lol....$5 is all i'm investing, and I'll only have to wait about 8 months or less, i can deal with that
every game i have ever played is better on pc, and even if its not at first, within days the modding community has made it so
i would guess out of the last 500 games released on console and pc, 495 have been immensly better on pc, very, very few exceptions
dark souls and gtaiv come to mind, though, at launch gtaiv looked 10x better than the console version, it just needed a few patches to make the damn thing playable, and after a few mods it looks better ...
i'll be playing all of these games!

though i will be playing them all on pc, except dragons dogma expansion, might pick that up on ps3 or 360, depending on which platform runs better
disagree, while i do believe baldurs gate 2 shadows of amn is probably the best game ever made, the witcher 2 is very, VERY close
crysis warhead is one of the best shooters ever made, so is hard reset and stalker and far cry 3, compared to doom...lol....duke nukem, wolfiestien, those classics are pure GARBAGE compared to far cry 3

4k is NEVER going to happen on ps4/nextbox, we'll be LUCKY if 1080p is the standard for a whole year after launch before devs start dropping the resolutions like crazy to fit more crap on screen
remember what the xbox360 said it was MANDATORY that all games be native 720p and have 2x aa.....lol......that lasted real long
same thing will happen next gen, you'll be playing 720p games on ps4/nextbox after a few years

game looks bunk, trailer even more so, was intrested in this years ago, but as more and more comes out about it, it looks worse and worse....
bargin bin, i'll grab it for $5 on steam in a few months.
even if the graphics were not insanely better on pc (which of course they are), the pc version would still be the on to get just for the fact it runs at 60 or more frames per second even on mid-range, 4 year old graphics cards
add in the lack of jaggies that plauge the last gen ps3/360 and lower texture counts and much lowers resolutions and the $10 hike in price and it begs the question, why on earth would you buy this and all other multiplats on anything but pc!

this and last of us will finally give me something to dust of the ps3 for, cannot wait, been playing pc exclusively since uncharted 3 and gears 3, nothing really spoke to me, though i will be grabbing disgaea 4 very soon for my ps3 as well and sinking untold hours into it.

5. digital full versions of games ALWAYS $15 less.
6. quit spamming the damn dlc, sell your game in a FINISHED state.

i play a game if it looks fun, has good visuals, good performance and will last me more than a few hours
from what i hear of the pc version of this game it sound to be all of those, i may wait for a bit better price, but once i see it on steam for $25 or so, im grabbing ...

ok now streach those images you posted to fill your 32" to 50" screen that you play your console games on and that is EXACTLY how bad it will look on console
your looking at the screen minimized i bet which is compressing the shit out of it and it will never look that crisp on an actual tv while playing
