pc version looks great, gameplay, ehhh....its a $10 game at most for me, a good friend is a die hard aliens fanboy, and he loves the game, happy he spent $44 (pre-order discount from steam or gmg i think)
graphically, it looks very nice running maxed out on pc, and it is locked at perfect 60 frames at all times, alien designs are very nice, and the ships and landscapes captures the early movies well

when you buy a console, you are buying the drm, agreeing to the policies and submiting to the rules and regulations
not nessasarily a bad thing, i will buy both ps4/nextbox eventually, but i know what im getting into, nowhere near the freedom, flexability, graphics or performance of a modern gaming rig
would rather play on pc, all fps are better with kb/m for me, plus, the graphics will obviously be better on pc than ps4/nextbox, with the leaked specs of those things, they look to be akin to a 3 year gaming laptop

game lok freaking great on pc, don't own it personally but a friend is a huge alien fanatic, he basically said,
"sure, i hear the reviews, but i own everything alien, even the terrible ps2 alien rts, so i'm getting it"

next gen consoles won't be able to look as good as crysis 2 on a high end pc, let alone crysis 3
next gen consoles won't come close to bf3 in ultra on pc in 2560x1600 either, let alone bf4

anti aliasing!! this is a must, on ps3/360 the jaggies can be game ruiningly distracting
v-sync, same with screen tearing, awful in some games

streaming of games is awful, latency issues, connectivity, internet goes down, files get corrupted, i know the game devs want physical media to go the way of the dodo, but gamers want to own their games, and for $65, i want a damn manual in color too!!!

there's no used steam games, maybe when the profits go directly to the devs, (and ms and sony) instead of dirty middlemen, sony, ms and devs and pubs will have more money to throw at sales
