next gen ps4/nextbox will be years BEHIND current pc's and you are only setting yourself up for nerd tears if you think otherwise

i 100% guarantee ps4/nextbox will not
you will see 1080p max, with many games in 720p, 768p, 900p, and many other wierd non standard resolu...
hopefully they just remember to make amazing games, the gimmicks are just that, gimmicks
i can care less about touch controls, movement controls, tounge controls, AR games, lights shooting around my room!
what i want is crisp, 1080p games at 60 frames per second with all the annoying jaggies and screen tearing of the xbox 360 and ps3 last gen gone and a distant bad memory

hopefully they include Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D as well to sweeten the deal, then i would consider it, pc version will probably be $10 less too
please give me side scrolling, 1080p, 60 fps castlevania and metroid with 30-40 hours of gameplay each and i will gladly give $300 for your wii u no questions asked!

to me, WoW looks better than almost any console game i have ever seen and supports 1000's and 1000's of players on a single server
its cartoony, but the draw distance, the lighting effects, the smooth perfection of the graphics i'll take anyday over something like this;

i play pc games on my 55" samsung, i play console games on a 32" samsung, the smaller the screen the better for low res 720p or less games
whan ps4 and nextbox come out, if they are capable of 1080p native then i will play them on the bigger screen
the image of 720p or less streached out accross a large sceen just looks awful imo, the jaggies are severly amplified and all the other faults are much more noticable
this game is going to look freaking amazing on pc
cannot wait to finally have something make the old gtx680 sweat a little, bring it crysis 3!
they claim it will be the best looking pc game all year, a mighty big claim considering metro last light is launching this year too.....
crysis 1 still looks unbelievably amazing, and with a few mods....man....its out of this world

BOTH sony and ms have been stalling way too long as they lose more and more marketshare to pc, mobile phones, tablets and even the wii u....

the pc version is always the one to go with for the graphics whores (me included)
the wii u version of aliens cm will look way better than the ps3/360 version, and i believe it will showcase the wii u a little better
but the pc version is $10 less and will look 10x better than the wii u version

I think you are both a bit off, and seem to be on oposite ends of the spectrum
while i do agree that next gen consoles will not be on par with a gaming pc of today in so far as resolution, anti aliasing techniques and uber high texture counts, i think next gen ps4 and xbox 720 will produce amazing visuals that will far outshine anything seen on ps3 and 360

heck no, bf1942, bf vietnam, bf2 and bf2142 NEVER had sp, and those were all a million times better than the terrible bad company games..... there were bots and there was mp, thats it, and thats all thats needed!

dude....an hd7850 or a 7970m are both mid spec at best, this is not in any way bad news, just not super powerful either, they have to think about all the people who would FREAK OUT if it was over $500
next gen consoles will be able to play bf3 on ultra at 30 frames in 1080p....thats a huge jump seeing as ps3 and 360 only managed bf3 in the LOWEST P...
and false advertising...the wii u is NOT capable of achieving anywhere near the graphical level of the hd zelda demo in a large open world game...
i hope i'm proven wrong but i don't think we'll ever see anything on the wii u as impressive as this;

they could always either;
A. incorporate the vita into an optional method of control for the ps4
B. build a tablet add on, that would have functionality in certain games, totally optional
(notice, in both instances, optional is the key)
