It's been around as mods for PC games for a while but never fully fledged, dedicated games. In comparison to TDM, CTF, DOM etc this mode is new and fresh considering most games don't even attempt to bring in new multiplayer game modes any more.
Out of hand? There's a less than 5 on console and a few DoA PC early access. Let's call TDM, CTF and SnD out of hand too shall we? It's simply a multiplayer game mode which isn't even slightly out of hand. Micro transactions are out of hand. Not less than a dozen BR game modes.
After all the shit that FO4 got for their buggy engine filled with glitches, sub par graphics and average story (it's about time people started to wake up for the ES and FO games tbh) a new mainline Fallout game seems highly unlikely in such a short space of time.
Please for the love of God don't make it open world. They are becoming stale. Give us back the sense of progression. Not give us a city which is cool to explore for a hour then becomes boring.
So you're one of them people that believe Ellie and Joel went into that small town in the distance and lived happily ever after? The outbreak is widespread. What were the repercussions of Joel's actions, did Ellie forgive him, did they fall out, did either of them die (we know Ellie isn't dead obviously)... There's so so so much which could of happened in that small town. To think they simply headed there and lived a normal life is madness. The first one left the game wide ope...
Judging from what YouTubers say in some of their vids, a lot of games have have bigger sized patches on the X1 whilst still having the same content as the PS4. No idea why that is though.
Baffles me how they attempting to sue over a genre. Shall the first developer who made a third person shooter sue PUBG or shall every cover shooter be sued behind the Devs of Killswitch?
Hell if they won this gaming would break. So many games take influence from other games. Imagine music without influence, films without influence.
They are clutching at straws here. As big as tencent is, I hope this puts a massive hole in their finances for having the a...
The washed out colours, the N64 textures inside the walls of buildings, the lack of AA (jaggies everywhere) the UI the frame drops when in a fire fight, running people over not killing them, the fog, the circle going to quickly. It's a good game and the driving and gunplay are really well done but it needs alot of work and judging from the PC version I don't expect a lot of them to be addressed.
They seem to be cycling BF one year, Battlefront the next and alternate between the two. I highly doubt we will see another BF game next year unless the Battlefront series has scared EA after the loot box boycott and instead go for that Respawn Star wars game to replace BF for a year.
It's not so much how the game looks but if the game looks pretty average you could half expect the game to run at a smooth solid 60fps which it doesn't. The lighting, the interiors all looking untextured/black etc. The gun play and car handling is amazing but this needs a massive overhaul which I don't think will happen.
The circles close way way way to fast. No longer have you got into one you need to start moving to the next. I know they said they tried to speed up the gameplay but this isn't the best way of doing it. Frame rate is choppy and the lack of anti aliasing makes some things look like sub hd days. Gun play is really good but this needs a lot of work.
I loved all BF games since BF2:MC (didn't have a pc to play the real BF2) but people's loved the Veitnam DLC for BC but I thought the setting whilst good for a DLC, wouldnt get as much praise as a single game. The maps would be very samey in terms of style and that's the last thing any people want from MP maps these days. People blast COD and destiny for having samey maps, BF doesn't need that too (although some of the apocalypse DLC felt similar to some of the other maps).
WW1 had very rarely been done in the medium, even more so at AAA level. There's also a idea going around that BFV might be alternate history. Okay yeah it's been done before but considering how long the BF franchise has been around for they are trying to mix things up a bit if things become true. Tomorrow we will see.
The combat, the monotone voice acting from geralt, the running animation like he has shit himself... It's a good game but when I hear game of a generation and one of the greatest of all time... Just no.
Servers are absolutely jam packed on PS4. Well they were when I was last on it. Some reviews just don't understand survival games. A lot of reviews shit on Ark but it was still one of the most played games for a long time.
GTA6 for next gen. Timing seems perfect tbh.
I'd happily take another KZ over HZD. That game was massively overrated.
I find alot of games music very boring these days. Where's the MGS1&2 music, where's the FF7 music, the sonics, the Mario's, the battlefields. They were just as memorable as the games themselves. Now alot of it is orchestral based which ain't a bad thing but where's the catchy melodic theme tunes gone. It's not limited to gaming with films very rarely have theme tunes anymore either.
Consoles will always have a trade off. Sacrifice frame rate for better graphics and physics or vice versa. The way TVs are being constantly being upgraded and changed who knows when the next jump will be then Devs will be back to where we are now.
Rippcity it's just cause it's EA. I don't agree with 90% of their practices as a business but but if BFV went the same way as BF1, everyone would of complained it looked identical to BF1 and a reskin. They add some colour and add some character and people moan. Yet a few years back everyone moaned that games were all greys and browns.
