I'm glad CDPR are sticking to their guns. The absolute pettiness coming from gamers over a perspective is is embarrassing.
That's all people have done after E3. It's pathetic for minor things like camera perspectives or woman as main lead roles. It's like every gamer wants the same over and over it's silly.
Sony's shares are falling over this. They need to actually think about what they are doing here. Just try it one game. See how it goes. If it becomes problematic at least they can say we tried. This response just scream back to the early PS3 days when they were arrogant.
Exactly stick to their vision. CDPR should do the same with Cyberpunk too. People cry bullshit about games feeling similar to previous games then cry when they Devs have the balls to spread their wings and do something different. It's no wonder developers are having this attitude as gamers are coming across really petty as of late.
This is one of the most overreacted things I've ever witnessed in gaming. All this backlash for a camera view... Some of the greatest RPGs ever have been first person and they've said the game was built around the first person perspective.
Sigh.
I was hoping it was more like the REmake than over the shoulder. Shame.
I can see why people wouldn't like Fortnite but H1Z1 isn't even in its league yet, it is beta after all. The game looks early PS3 days (this isn't knocking the PS3, it's stating how bad it looks for a PS4 game), the textures, animations, the UI, the frame rate needs alot of work.
It is beta though and Fortnite didn't start off as the game it is today so maybe in a few months time they can turn the game around before the player base dwindles when we get a...
Rippcity it's just cause it's EA. I don't agree with 90% of their practices as a business but but if BFV went the same way as BF1, everyone would of complained it looked identical to BF1 and a reskin. They add some colour and add some character and people moan. Yet a few years back everyone moaned that games were all greys and browns.
It's been around as mods for PC games for a while but never fully fledged, dedicated games. In comparison to TDM, CTF, DOM etc this mode is new and fresh considering most games don't even attempt to bring in new multiplayer game modes any more.
Out of hand? There's a less than 5 on console and a few DoA PC early access. Let's call TDM, CTF and SnD out of hand too shall we? It's simply a multiplayer game mode which isn't even slightly out of hand. Micro transactions are out of hand. Not less than a dozen BR game modes.
After all the shit that FO4 got for their buggy engine filled with glitches, sub par graphics and average story (it's about time people started to wake up for the ES and FO games tbh) a new mainline Fallout game seems highly unlikely in such a short space of time.
Please for the love of God don't make it open world. They are becoming stale. Give us back the sense of progression. Not give us a city which is cool to explore for a hour then becomes boring.
So you're one of them people that believe Ellie and Joel went into that small town in the distance and lived happily ever after? The outbreak is widespread. What were the repercussions of Joel's actions, did Ellie forgive him, did they fall out, did either of them die (we know Ellie isn't dead obviously)... There's so so so much which could of happened in that small town. To think they simply headed there and lived a normal life is madness. The first one left the game wide ope...
Judging from what YouTubers say in some of their vids, a lot of games have have bigger sized patches on the X1 whilst still having the same content as the PS4. No idea why that is though.
Baffles me how they attempting to sue over a genre. Shall the first developer who made a third person shooter sue PUBG or shall every cover shooter be sued behind the Devs of Killswitch?
Hell if they won this gaming would break. So many games take influence from other games. Imagine music without influence, films without influence.
They are clutching at straws here. As big as tencent is, I hope this puts a massive hole in their finances for having the a...
The washed out colours, the N64 textures inside the walls of buildings, the lack of AA (jaggies everywhere) the UI the frame drops when in a fire fight, running people over not killing them, the fog, the circle going to quickly. It's a good game and the driving and gunplay are really well done but it needs alot of work and judging from the PC version I don't expect a lot of them to be addressed.
They seem to be cycling BF one year, Battlefront the next and alternate between the two. I highly doubt we will see another BF game next year unless the Battlefront series has scared EA after the loot box boycott and instead go for that Respawn Star wars game to replace BF for a year.
It's not so much how the game looks but if the game looks pretty average you could half expect the game to run at a smooth solid 60fps which it doesn't. The lighting, the interiors all looking untextured/black etc. The gun play and car handling is amazing but this needs a massive overhaul which I don't think will happen.
The circles close way way way to fast. No longer have you got into one you need to start moving to the next. I know they said they tried to speed up the gameplay but this isn't the best way of doing it. Frame rate is choppy and the lack of anti aliasing makes some things look like sub hd days. Gun play is really good but this needs a lot of work.
The free argument is void. We've had hundreds of F2P games over the years and none of them have caught on like Fortnite has.
