Totally agree. I mean it's not their fault as that was how things were in that time period but it's much easy to make a massive map when it's all rocks trees and Cactus with a few guys thrown in here and there.
Early access for a five year old game. This is money grabbing at its finest lol
Pre-ordered are a outdated thing I games. This isn't the 90s anymore and more fool anyone who pays for pre-order bonuses such as skins, early guns etc. You're being made a mug out of.
Theres quite a few people screaming out for arcade racers. This generation has been absolutely dire for them but when they are selling at these kind of figures it's understandable why we are getting less and less of them. Everyone wants to play boring Sims now which just ain't fun IMO.
Nope say that to the countless amount of games that have been pulled from store fronts. You're naive to think they could not just delete game in a simple click.
Skull do you really think console makers are going to miss potential sales in countries without good internet infrastructure? Alot of world don't have great internet as it is. Hell even in the UK some people are playing on seriously slow internet.
You could also say goodbye to competitive pricing on games on consoles because you know that physical game you used to be able to buy £20 cheaper in a shop than on PSN or XBL? Tough because now you have to pay that £...
Modular consoles have happened in some respects before and it's never worked well. Sega CD and the expansion pack for N64 spring to mind. There are also modular phones out there but theyve never taken off either.
The new games have been great though?
Nothing more changed to GTA4? Wow you are easily pleased lol
But imagine a time when you have £5-£11 a month and EA, Ubi, square, Sony, MS, sega, Nintendo etc all have their own services with their own exclusives. Thats when we run into issues. Here in the UK if you want the best of streaming you need all Netflix now TV and prime.
Without reading the article open world game have became boring because a lot of them have brilliantly built world's with some of the laziest mission designs ever. Also with open worlds once you've seen it once it loses its appeal. With story based linar games your constantly moving through a ever changing environment, seeing new things, locations, buildings. Uncharted 4 had the right idea with big wide open areas that lead to a linear section to progress the game forward.
The mansion DLC from RE5 had a Easter egg which allowed you to play some of the DLC with fixed cameras and it worked really well. Why some people think fixed camera angles mean we have to have tank controls I don't know when REmake allowed you to play both tank and analogue and it worked really well.
That you need to dedicate your whole life too to get enough to get a car. They boast about having free DLC but costs godly amounts of in game cash that it became pay to win for the rich kids. The racing is the best thing about GTAO
Ultranova that is wishful thinking. There's no way we will have SSD in next consoles. It's way to expensive. Load times are pretty good these days and few and far between compared to last generation.
The car physics are really top notch and surprisingly better than alot of AAA open world games physics but the game needs a lot of work in other areas. I still put it on now and then to see if any of the issues that bug me are fixed but they are usually minor fixes.
I'm surprised it's coming out officially so soon as there's still a absolute shit ton of problems with this game unless this is the update that gets rid of the fog, fixes the parachute physics, the horrible UI, the black N64-like textures inside of buildings, fixes the frame rate when in gun fights, adds third person ADS and adds anti aliasing.
I miss arcade racers so much but I think they are slowly going the way of fighting games. The crowd doesn't seem there for them anymore and it's sad to see. I mean Forza, GT and Project Cars are all well and good but I find them incredibly boring (here come the down votes). Give me more DriveClubs, Split Seconds, Motorstorm hell I'd even take another Ridge Racer at this point. This generation has been absolutely rubbish for arcade racers.
Here in the UK it's £25 in Tesco. It's prices like this why I will never fully embrace digital only when physical is much more cheaper in the UK.
Its such a shame because OnRush is a really good game. You can tell it didnt have that Sony money behind it but it was a good game overall.
Have they done no research into what this game is? You have to opt into PvP FFS. That's the complete opposite to what BR is.
