The worst are the people who are saying it's another zombie game in a over populated zombie genre. DayZ plays nothing like Plants vs zombies or Resident evil plays nothing like dead rising... Zombies isn't a Genre.
We've been shooting generic aliens as space marines for years or generic super solider but they get a free pass.
This game is looking very promising and don't get the inital stigma the game was getting.
I havent played a single PS plus game this gen outside of Outlast. I'm not slating it as there's been some top tier games on there but I've already played them or just don't interest me in the slightest. Where as last gen I'd play nearly everything and I've been a PS plus member before they even game proper games away and only gave PS1 games and minis lol
The map editor in FC games is one of ubisofts wasted potentials. They could release that map editor for free, add more options, modes, freedom for players to make their own games. Similar or dreams (although dreams is next level at this point) and I'm sure it could be easily monitized. It's so annoying that a map editor thats as good as it is is so misrepresented because of the basic level structure the FC games allow such as kill 30 people, reach end of map etc. So much potential the...
I personally have never really enjoyed the RDR games but we can't forget that GTA online is very much set in the modern day but it has flying bikes with lazers, madmax arena combat, hover suits etc. It won't put it past them to add unicorns with rainbow poo as dlc tbh.
It was a good game. Its just weren't Devil May Cry. The same goes for RE5, it was a good game but it weren't resident evil. Both may of not had the outcome or reception that Capcom wanted but at least they tried to do something different.
Id love a new Getaway game. There's so much potential with that IP and the game was massively ambitious for a PS2 game. What they could do with a PS4 or even a PS5 would be so good.
I'm glad we're starting to see just as much hate for Activision as we are EA. Activision is a lot worse than EA with loot boxes, microtranactions, season passes, rehashing content over and over and over for one game. At least EA have solid IP to their name. Activision don't even attempt to do anything new anymore.
Clean Prince does nothing but moan about everything to the point I question if he even likes gaming
This isn't just SE. Pretty much every major release that sells millions isn't enough. BF5 sold 7.5 million in three months weren't enough, BO4 made 500 Million in its first week, it weren't enough. The original Tomb Raider reboot sold silly number but it weren't enough.
They tell their investers silly numbers to please them then question why their stock falls when their game sells millions but "below expections".
PC gamers make me laugh when you get comment like this. Yes there are probably more kids playing on console than PC but have you seen YouTube and twitch stream complications? A lot of them grown arse people are acting like those chromosome deprived kids you mention except they are grown men speaking and acting no different to some of the trash talking kids on Fortnite etc, sometimes even worse.
It's been here for years and it's still going strong and only growing. It's a still a young mode after people playing TDM, CTF and SnD for decades.
No. No matter how well COD games sell, it will never be enough. Every single triple AAA game from Ubi, Acti and EA 'underperform' thought it makes them billions in a few weeks. Watch a few of Jim Sterling's videos and you will realise what a load of bollocks these publishers come out with.
Nemesis > Mr X
Nemesis was terrifying as a kid. Jumping out through walls, doors and popping up just when you thought you were safe. His simple 'stars' phrase, the rocket launcher, the way he looked... Just everything about him was levels above mr X for me.
There's like 4 popular BR games and a lot of failed ones on PC. In comparison to the amount of FPS, RPGs and sports games, 4 is very few. The fact apex launched last week and added a heap on new ideas to the formula shows that there's still a lot of ideas to come from a genre that's relatively young.
I bought TF2 ages ago for about £20 but never played it (massive backlog) but Its on my cards too after playing Apex Legends.
Until blackout fixes or gets rid of the armour system which is what the majority of players want, apex wins it for me. Its absolutely insane how many bullets you have to pump into someone with armour in blackout just to drop them.
It's hard to Evolve the fighting genre tbf but I'm with you. I used to buy all the big fighters but I cannot justify paying full price for them these days when they have the cheek to charge you for extra characters.
When it comes to Disney and games everyone thinks star wars whilst I sit and cry knowing split second will never get a sequel.
If PSN had a return policy like steam I'd return it. How this game is as big as it is I will never know. I love BR games but of all the big ones this is the worst by a mile.
They've been with Activision for one year and now we get this news 😭
