I hope not. In the UK game prices have gone up £10-£20 this generation. Last generation they were £40 for the most part but this gen, I've had to be a lot more fussy with games because of the increased prices.
To be fair they brought some amazing games to the table last generation. Mirrors Edge, Dead Space, Burnout Paradise, multiple Battlefeild games to name a few. This generation has been pretty bad for them but alot of that is down to their own greed.
Resident Evil 2 REmake is easily GOTY for me.
Stadia backers are trying so hard to justify their purchases right now. Yes streaming one day will be the future but now? No. There's still hurdles in the way and stadias service model is a complete mess. It's impressive to see but even the most enthusiastic of people who embrace new tech are underwhelmed at the moment.
It's why I haven't bought a single fighting game this generation. Multiple season passes for characters you used to unlock by playing the game. Namco are mocking people with tekken 7. It's the first one I've not played.
I hope its more in line with the first game than the second. I felt the first one had its perfect balence of scares and suspence between them scares. Outlast 2 felt like I was constantly running for my life, thr suspense weren't as high because of that. Great games though and I hope this new game does well for the series
Not in the UK when games are £10-20 more expensive digitally than on disc. Next gen wouldn't have a disc drive either if there still weren't a large majority of people using discs.
Fragnum, I in no way implied anything bad about lidl. I don't really rate their own brand food except their bakery and fresh veg range. (You pay slightly more at tesco and Asda for better tasting food IMO, not the exaduated amount you're implying). Spin it how you want but Lidl are known in the UK as bargain chain that also has a section of their store that will sell anything. The fact it was selling digital Xboxs truly does make it look like MS overestimated how well the console woul...
When you try hard to act clever and it backfires incredibly.
Lidl had them. That says alot in the UK. A shop that has baskets in the middle of their shops filled with anything from mops to toys to socks and ironing boards. You can pick anything up from there. It's a discount brand store.
The SAD versions were being sold in bargain shops here in the UK. MS must have had a lot of dead stock with that model.
When it came out last generation I slogged through Leon's campaign and the others were just bad. I stupidly bought it again on PS4 to give it another chance... It was worse than I remember.
RE5 sent us off track but it still a good game. Just not a good RE game. RE6 sent us even further off track and was just a average 5/10 game overall. I'm glad the media were harsh on it or might never have got RE7 or RE2 the way we know it.
Im glad those days ...
The first COD of a generation are never usually that great. You usually see the jump when they ditch the generation before it. Also we cannot forget that Treyarch are having a year less to make the next COD because of sledgehammers cock up.
Although it doesn't really apply to this game there are no MTs yet, I wonder if this has something to do with that patent a year or two ago where they'd perposely put you up against better players to get you to buy loot boxes which contained guns etc? It seems odd why they're being told they cannot talk about it. Something is going on.
The gameplay, the engine, art style, battle systems, and core mechanics are set in place now. It's not like they are making a new game for part 2, it's a exact continuation from part 1. The same game with the story continued and new locations and cutscenes. As long as development goes smooth it should come before 3 years I think.
Ive been playing the game for months now. There's some great ideas and a lot of potential but Ive so far played one game which felt like it could have been its own game. A lot of stuff on there is concepts, ideas and assets. They are all insanely talented though because I've tried to make music and sculpt things and have fails miserablely lol
It's forcing ranked play into a casual playlist which for the most part does not work.
For instance my Internet has a ping of about 15-20 for the most part and any multiplayer game should put you in a game with the best connection like every other multiplayer game ever made, but not MW. It will put you in a lobby with a ping of 300 playing with Americans, Europeans and Australians because it wants to match you on someones skill rather than connection. You get shot from ...
When you are walking through a near lifelike environment oozing in atmosphere and ambiance and then Chvches or Khalid starts playing, it totally ruins the vibe. It just don't don't fit. It's nothing against the use of artists or the music itself. It just don't fit with what's on screen.
I'm ready! I hope mercenaries is included too. Loved that mode as a kid!
