JackFrags was playing the MW Alpha with M&K on PS4 (this game supports it on console) and he was impressed how well people using controllers were doing.
And a gameboy is a handheld console if you want to play smart...
The Gameboy had a camera attachment. Admittedly it was crap by today's standards but for the time it was pretty cool
This site seems to be getting slower and slower with the articles that make the front page lately. A lot few news is a good few days out of date, or in this case, weeks. Maybe this place is quite than it used to be I don't know but something is off lately.
On topic though, this game looks massively more ambitious than other games coming out around the same timeframe
I'm pumped for CODMW but BF has nothing to worry about (BFV is a bit shitty but I can let that slide, look how many shitty CODs we've had recently).
They are two separate games that play completely different. We would compare ARMA to COD, or Insurgency to BF. I just hope DICE learns from BFV that BF is meant to feel like war. Hopefully MW will give dice the kick up the arse to get us back to the glory days of BF.
MAG was way ahead of its time, in some aspects it is even now. It ran pretty bad but it would have been perfect for a remaster on PS4, 60fps would have done wonders for the game.
Yeah I totally agree. I love it when smaller studios take heavy influence of a once established series and it becomes a success. It must be a kick in the teeth to publishers that own it that refuse to do anything with it.
It's definitely not a bad thing being like DS. People hold 1 and 2 to high praise.
Let's also not forget how insanely popular Cage Match was in the original modern warfare.
Imagine not playing a game because they've updated a texture....
I've never wanted to agree and disagree with someones comment so much in all my time here lol. MGS4 is absolutely a top 10 game of all time but MGSV was pretty bad. If it had not had MGS in the name it would of reviewed at 6s and 7s. Easily the worst mainline MGS game in the series.
I still haven't got D2. I know this is a minor thing to most but the world looks so boring and generic compared to the first game. Snow covered NY with the black Friday attack setting was incredible. D2 unfortunately looks like a hundred other games.
Which was easily the worse MGS in the series. A lot of games suffer when deciding to go open world and MGSV was one of them. Its one mundanly boring and lifeless and as much as I want to be excited for DS, the world looks boring and lifeless again
Tbh battlefield had a million times more things going on that any COD game. COD had been pretty copy and paste up until now with MW which is a step in the right direction for COD.
How is there disagrees with this comment? RDR2 is one of the biggest disappointments of this generation. The first game is leagues better.
So was the first gane. Layers of Fear gets undeservingly shit on all the time.
Apart from having to get up and and put a disk into your console, the pros of physical majorly outweigh the pros of digital. Look at the response of Google Stadia in terms of your collection of the service gets shit down. Look at PT and TMNT and the older games getting pulled from stores because of music tracks etc. Digital is not that great.
People say MW2 was the best because it required the least skill to play and held your hand the most making you feel good. I'm glad this new game is sticking more to the original with its pacing more than the second MW2.
BO1 was the greatest COD for personally.
This generation has been absolute crap for arcade racers. I'm hoping we see a revival like we saw with horror games this gen, on the next generation.
Remember the mod for Mirrors Edge that made it third person? It was never intended to be seen that way and nothing was animated but the legs and arms. It's not a simple case of changing the camera angle
@Raz, I personally liked 3rd person MW2. I'm one of the rare people who thinks it's up there with the worst COD games though so I know I'm in a very small margin of people lol
