I hope not but likely. Controllers are already expensive as it is.
@giblet, nor do consoles need exclusives but they certainly help. As if some of the highest rated games of the entire industry are getting shamed for being movie like... If it's such a burden that only consoles face then why do you PC get so worked and hyped up when there's runours of a Sony exclusive coming to your platform? PC contradict themselves at every moment. It's incredible.
Dontdudat, creativity to the PC? This isn't the 90s or early 2000s anymore. Please tell me what was the last PC exclusive that blew the world away? I'll wait. All you get is anime sex games, small indie games and unfinished early access games, everything else you can get on console. You PC players always harp on about all this extra power but no game on PC hasn't been achievable on console outside of graphics and performance. This ain't the Crysis era no more.
You would be surprised how many people are the top of any business that don't have a clue what goes on at the bottom level, the ones bringing the money in. All they see is pound signs and when that money starts to dip, it's not their mis-management that gets the blame, it's the people doing the working, brining the money into the business.
We don't GameStop in the UK but we have GAME which is just as poorly managed as GS and alot of their problems are common...
Dreams could be Sony's answer to Minecraft. I know this will get downvoted because I'm a Sony loyalist too and want exclusives to stay exclusive to a console but if I was Sony, I would seriously consider porting this to PC and even maybe Xbox. They'd make a killing from it.
Naruga a lot of people start off creating games that already exist to get used to the tools. Having a already developed character, world and story made is half of the work already done for you. It's a template. These people making homages to their favourite games today will be making incredible original games before you know it.
There's already some incredible games on dreams and it's still early days. People are finding new techniques to create new effects ever...
The XCloud might end up being great but that doesn't mean these shitty practices won't happen on there or any other streaming services going forward. You don't own anything with streaming. They can just take it away even of you have paid for it for licences, copyrighted music etc and there won't be anything you can do about it.
It's one of the most anticipated games of the year?
The Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2 and slightly weaker than the OG Xbox both of which proved that raw power don't sell consoles because the PS2 ran away with that generation anyway. The GameCube ports were terrible? So because a handful of games were worse that's it, all ports are terrible? I've never heard so much waffle in my life and this says a lot when it comes to N4G.
I haven't bought a Nintendo console since the GC tbh as I've not really ...
People are mass disagreeing with me that's fine. I just don't get the hype with it. It's not as if I played 10 minutes. I've given it a try three times and came back not really enjoying it. I did love the TV show though.
Go and check my trophies if I didn't play it as it's affecting you so much. It was a boring open world to explore. Yaaaay more trees, bridges and the odd cave to pick up meaningless loot to sell /s.
The big town I went to to get a boat was amazing to see but outside of that from what I played was bland. CDPR looks to have addressed this with CP2077 though. It looks much more fleshed out and I can't wait to explore it.
I done the bloody baron quest and got to a big city that I needed a boat from and realised this game just really isn't all that and gave up after my 3rd attempt of trying the game over.
The voice acting was pretty bad at times from Geralt and Ciri who are the main characters... The animations were stiff, the run on Geralt alone is enough to see that, the controls were janky and backwards to Morden control layouts, the open world was filled with nothingness making it un...
Siege has lost its way for me and the two new operators they're adding are exactly why. A guy that smashes through walls and knocks players over and a woman who has a controllable hologram... It's become silly.
It's not a hero shooter. Yes each operator had abilities unique to them but they were small things to help your squad overall but they were mostly somewhat grounded in reality.
No. We already have enough games forcing open worlds and most of them look great but the gameplay becomes shallow with 95% of them being fetch, collect and kill quests.
Linear games with a sense of progression > open world games that you get bored of after a hour because youve seen it already.
Naruga is that you?
Lets not forget Destiny 1 and The Division 1 turned around for the better. It can be done. Let's be real the game can only get better at this point.
REmake, RE0 and RE4 were the reasons I owned the GC personally. Windwaker was the only Zelda I ever beat. It was also the last Nintendo console I rated.
Bow and arrows, slingshots and bolas at the ready.
What is going on with this website lately. The news is getting later and later. First this then the MW season 2 start date. Both have been known for weeks.
Can't wait for for the onslaught of more generic open world games... So many franchises have been butchered by going open world.
