My most played game this generation is Ark. It's a buggy, broken mess of a game with developers who are seemingly unable to fix their game and it scored pretty badly. It gets a lot of bad feedback but still continues to be one of the most popular games of this generation. That being said I find myself continuingly going back to it. Some games lack polish but underneath you can see the game it's trying to be and you try to enjoy it.
Easily Resident Evil 2 Remake. This year overall was lackluster where as next year looks insanely good.
Oh and here comes Sean to prove my statement still stands correct. Those games do have females in them yes you're right. State the obvious but people kick up a fuss because there are female soliders in a WW2 shooter as if there weren't females fighting in WW2. Yes they were a dot in comparison to how many men were fighting but they were there and people refuse to believe that.
It's cool to hate on BFV around here. You'd be surprised how many won't play it because it has women in it. Quite pathetic really. It's not the best BF game and the focus on the smaller, less known fights makes it not feel like a war game at times but the last content drops were massively well received by the community. I'm not sure what they were thinking with the TTK when it backfired on them before.

Apart from RE2, I don't think this year has been anything to write home about. Next year on the other hand is looking like it could be one of greatest of all time. The Last of Us 2, CyberPunk, FF7 remake, Resident Evil 3, Dying Light 2, Ghosts of Tsuchima, Half Life Alyx, Halo Infinite and that's before we even start the next generation at the end of the year.

I love RE4 but I hope Capcom don't remake it. It's a really good game but without changing the whole atmosphere and tone of the game, it would still be a action game and with RE being on a really solid return to form lately in horror, it's the last thing I'd want to see. RE4 was the start of the downfall of RE which is error to say for a game that's so good.

It's a mid teir game. You can tell that. Is that a bad thing? No. Arcade racers (it will have elements of this I'm sure) have been been nonexistent this generation so at this point I'm allowing my standards to fall lol
Obviously I'm not sure where you live in the world but here in the UK PS4s advertising on TV and YouTube at least, has been quite consistant, more so than the Xbox's. I know there's more to advertising than just TV but thats the main form of advertising most seem to remember.
