The PS4 UI is simple and straight to the point. Most of what you need is one click away. It lags with some games and improvements would be welcome but it's the best of this gen. The Switch is simple but lackluster and the XBone is a mess with its menus inside of menus inside of menus just to get to anything. Forcing the windows 10 look into a console was a bad move.
RE3 is a good game? Why would you be scared for anything other than how long the game is lol?
Hunt Showdown is tempting.
It's not even a gaming outlet, it was a twitter post. Whoever submitted it added their opinion and it's not a great one at that lol. I like the idea they were going with but distressed silver part reminds me of them early 00s Sky TV remotes where the silver paint would come off of it over prolonged use. Not a good look.
We've been told it's the future for nearly two whole generations now. Digital wont become the standard for a long time yet. Internet speeds, download caps, rip off store prices on games which can be bought for a third off the RRP in a retail shop or online, games can't be resold and let's not forget how many digital games have vanished from store fronts because of licence issues.
Believe me, digital is not all that great just because people have become so l...
@Nuetral, I did state that in my reply but again, the game ain't butchered because certain parts are missing... Those parts didn't need cutting and I'm baffled as to why they did. They should have definitely expanded on what was there but the game overall is still a solid game.
Cutting content on a already short game was a bad mistake on Capcoms part but to say it was butchered? Hardly. It's still a great game. Just one hard to justify at full price.
It also showed us that once again that a more action focus isn't the root RE should take and this is why I don't want a RE4 remake. It still hold up well now in comparison to other games from that era but after the amazing RE2 Remake and RE7, I want horror over action from the series.
RE4 really doesn't need to be remade. Capcom should take what they've learned from the remakes and use them in new titles.
They didn't butcher 3 though?
Have you never played a sequel to any game in existence then? So many games end on cliffhangers or story arcs left open and you would be waiting years, sometimes even whole generations for the continuation.
Shinox no RE game ever has been like TLOU. Saying that of Capcom did go down that root I'm sure there's many many people who would be pleased by that.
It's not even the same shape as any previous Xbox controller. They are all clutching at straws. The Xbox One controller feels like a cheap and hollow toy, with clucky buttons and horrible, loose analogue sticks. I will never understand why it gets such praise.
You cannot compare the level of cheating on consoles to PC. Yes there were some of PS3 and Xbox 360 but it meant modifying your console, risk not many people would take. On PC it's as simple as downloading a programs and following a few guides. PC just needs to be left out of Crossplay. All they do is whine about the minute aim assist controllers have anyway.
Ziggurcat, Digital ain't for everyone. Some have internet data caps, have bad Internet speeds, want to resell, keep the game forever without it vanishing from store fronts or some would rather just pay nearly £15-20 cheaper buying it elsewhere, physical than the silly prices digital stores charge.
The REmake is already brilliant and wish they could has somehow incorporated fixed camera angles as a unlockable mode in the later remakes that followed it. It would have added so much replayability.
It's really not that dumb. Nostalgia plays a big part. MW2 MP was a unbalanced mess. It brought the franchise forward but going back you realise how much of a mess it was.
RE5 was a good game. Just a below average Resident Evil game.
As good of a good game it was, It's also the begining of the down fall of Resident Evil. RE4 still holds up today well and can be bought on nearly every console and phone over the last 3 generations. RE 1 2 and 3 were only available via emulation or someone with a disk and a old console.
Then you've missed out on some good games.
Upgraded or not, it still won't become anything more that a beautiful but overly dull and boring game.
