Just started getting sound, it's about to begin. Gaming sites are falling down from the traffic!
This was my personal GOTY. It's transgressive, it stays with you, you will think about violence and you will enjoy it.
So did the original though, and that was never a problem because the gameplay was great.
Sadly, it looks like they've not improved on it.
For the PS3, Sony put a crapload of money into the Cell and into Blu-Ray.
The PS4 looks to be off the shelf PC parts. The price will be competitive from the outset. Expect the same from MS too.
Hopefully, not at all.
Are they still paying him in Doritos?
Of course it's going to be on PC. Don't know why this is even questioned. Both next-gen consoles are just PCs, once the exclusivity money runs out - you'll see.
Yeah, but surely you appreciate the irony. The other PS4 advantage is that it's not running Windows 8.
The top spec laptop is a Intel Core i7-3630QM with a GeForce GT650M and 8Gb RAM.
So more powerful than a PS4.
Both next gen consoles are just PCs. Going to be so easy for third parties to go multiplatform. Awesome news.
@Mochachino "The legacy of Half Life and insurmountable expectations for HL2, which increases as time progresses has made Half Life 2 a guaranteed disappointment which would decrease their brand value."
Was hoping for better for The Cave. Excited about Kentucky Route Zero - really loved the mood piece of the trailer they did, but I found their previous game, A House in California, a pretentious waste of time.
The Making of Final Fantasy VI feature is sure to be interesting.
Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, the game David Cage did before Heavy Rain.
It starts off as an occult X-Files style mystery thriller. By the end of it, you've become a zombie jedi fighting the internet.
Next gen has to support free to play.
Would not be surprised to see Planetside 2 as a PS4 launch title.
I don't have figures that point directly to speech recognition research, but Microsoft has consistently outspent Apple in RnD.
It's available in their earnings.

Apple spend a tiny fraction of their revenues on RnD, less so than many of their competitors.

Microsoft have been throwing loads of resources at this. I'd argue that Microsoft have put more resources into this than Apple with their Siri acquisition. I reckon Google is even further ahead though.
Speech is perfect for the living room. Sony should partner with Google for their speech tech.
I'm going to be weird and say that I'm really looking forward to the next-gen Sony ads.
I like the weirdness. The Third Place for the PS2, and in particular, the This is Living campaign for PS3 was awesome.
It was transgressive and subversive. It was there to pique the interest of early adopters, not the mass market. Here you had a TV commercial depicting a footballer masturbating to televised football. A mercenary experiencing PTSD flashbacks. D...
If next-gen consoles lock out 2nd hand titles (like Steam), but don't drop their prices to compensate - then PC is going to dominate.
Planetside 2 is the boss. Honestly think it'll end up being a PS4 launch title too.
It is next gen, now.
Stop talking about the Vita! Get on with it.
