Mad Men vs Aliens would have been awesome.
The PC Master Race kids sure are an improvement on the "power of the cell" open zone dbags though.
They better get used to PC development, next-gen says hi!
AMD graphics are competitive, their CPUs aren't.
PC sales are down significantly this quarter, so it's hitting all players. It's why Intel and Nvidia are pushing so hard on mobile.
Doubt he got fired, probably wants to work somewhere where he can speak his mind and give personal opinions.
Should really go indie. Phil Fish seems to do OK.
I agree with you.
I think there are competitors doing it right, like GOG.
It's the incompetence, and the fact that we're forced to #dealwithit which I can't stand.
They could have just used Steam, but it looks like every publisher is trying to come up with their own competing store front.
It's a shame that they're all crap though.
I'm fairly sure Apple disagrees.
Not remotely leaked, but awesome all the same.
The thing is $99. As a streaming/media box, it's fine - games are a bonus. It'll see annual updates, give it two years, maybe even one - and mobile chips will have caught up with this generation.
Sure we'll have next-gen by then, but Nintendo have proved you can be a generation behind on the graphics and still do well.
The year is 2007. It is the future.
Sold.
Greatest skill video ever. Farming ftw.

Richard Garriott is a multi-millionaire who has enough money for a holiday in space. He's still running a Kickstarter.
It's about viral advertising. You're not a patron of the arts, you're just pre-ordering a game.
I might not bother with a console that enforces always on DRM, but I thought people wouldn't pay a subscription for multiplayer gameplay that you can get for free everywhere else.
And yet, Xbox Live has probably been Microsoft's greatest success.
Advance Wars only needs one screen.
The dual screen functionality added to the DS versions add nothing, no one actually cares about sending units up and down.
The touchscreen is the best way to interact with Advance Wars. So let's just play to the strengths.
A Wii U version should just ditch the TV altogether and just use the touch screen.
Would love to see a new Advance Wars.
They need to get rid of the shitty dark gritty theme of the last game though. Maybe they thought that the cheery "War is fun, kids!" style was a bit crass - but the dark "War is hell, but also fun, kids!" was even worse.
With the original, you knew it was ridiculous - with the last game, it was like they were pretending badly that it wasn't.
Completely disagree. It's like saying Chess needs RPG elements.
Jonathan Blow's a bit of an asshole too. Kojima has spent the last several months on a viral advertising campaign.
Who cares? The games are good.
And then you compare him to Rovio? If everything of theirs is stolen, then why is it that they have had the success? It's because Angry Birds has a charm that all the other fling things games don't.
Rovio are one of the most professional companies in existence, the way they've tu...

If exclusivity was about pushing platforms to the limit, he'd have gone PC-only.
Exclusivity is about getting a bucketload of cash from the platform holder.
