As soon as COD doesn't sell anymore they will kill it with fire. Just like they did with GH. As soon as COD is not bringing in the numbers it will go the same way.
And the next COD like franchise will be on their books. Rinse and repeat.
And GH died because it was costing too much for limited return. The price of the music killed the game in the end, which is quite ironic.
It's not 3 hours though.
There's a lot of great games coming out this year, UC2 was released in a year where there wasn't as much competition, it's not so clear cut this year.
One - We don't generally live in poverty. Which means we can afford our games.
Two - We don't live in a wartorn country where gaming is the least of our worries.
Three - One and Two are reasons enough that we don't have to worry about The plight of a British gamer.
Four - No really, we don't have it that bad.
Yeah MS did very well last year sales wise, and Kinnect did exceptionally well. You can't knock MS for their selling skills, just for their E3 presentation skills lol.
It's looking like a golden year for gaming, that's for sure.
What, like last year? MS was terrible, hopefully they have a better year for 2011. Can't be any worse than 2010.
Simple puzzles? Um, no.
Super short? Um, no.
But still really good? That's a yes from me.
I'm just gonna wait until I see something official, all the rumours and opinions on Nintendo's next console don't mean a thing until it's actually announced.
Until then we will just have to suffer reading bs from people who don't really have a clue what it's going to be like.
5-6 years is good enough for a consoles lifespan. I don't think I've ever bought a console thinking I'd still be playing on it 10 years later. Yeah, the ps2 has had a good innings but I personally stopped playing on the ps2 when the current consoles came out years ago.
How is it ruining gaming? Give us some reasons on why it's ruining gaming please, I'd love to hear them.
I can't see how a game that allows pc gamers and console gamers to play together is ruining gaming. Apart from that fact the game is also excellent.
It's a shame there aren't enough jrpgs for you to enjoy, but I don't think Portal 2 is the reason for the lack of jrpgs. It's probably more to do with most western people not likin...
I completed this the other day, thought it was a fun shooter. It's completely over the top and has plent of great set-pieces. The humour is mostly crude and not as funny as the makers think it is, it still managed to make me laugh in a few places though.
If anyone enjoyed Painkiller I think they'd enjoy this, although the main campaign is a bit on the short side.
Hmm, I don't think I'll be getting anything from Ubisoft this year then.

I'm glad they listened, while I wouldn't have minded it being there the choice to turn it off is welcome. It's good to see devs take notice of the fans sometimes.
This is looking like a serious GOTY contender.
Doom 4 is going to look incredible, I think that is a given. Every Doom game has set the bar high for graphics in fps's, there's no doubt in my mind that it will also be the case for the forth game.
I must stop talking about Doom 4 now before my head explodes.
Looks excellent, one of my most wanted games of 2011 for sure. id haven't let me down yet, so I have high hopes for this.
The pc version will own all. You only have two options, play the inferior version (The console version) or the superior version (The pc version).
If you want to play with a joypad (inferior) and console graphics (inferior) against your friends (who probably have a couple of braincells - inferior) then play the console version.
