I know what you mean. It's a great game, it might not bring my pc to its knees but I'm kinda glad about that in a way. It still looks damn good, and it's the best shooter I've played in a long while.
No, it has the gameplay as well. How you can even comment duplissi when you haven't played the games is beyond me. Come back and comment when you have played the games, I might take your comment more seriously then.

What you've just described is a pc, in your first sentence anyway. What else would you add to make it different from the rest? HD,BC and better online is all well and good, but what would you do to make it stand out from the crowd?
The Wii for all its negative points did do something different from the crowd, afterall the other consoles had to get in on the act in the end.

I'm hoping it's HL3 after all this time. A full fledged sequel is what we need right now. Episodes were supposed to be released in fairly short time. Not the time - or even more time - it takes to make a full game.
I love Valve but I love HL even more, and I haven't seen a whole lot of HL lately.
It's time to announce something.
Yeah, the first person scene was a nice touch. I think they had plenty to work with, and they could have produced something really special. But as usual it was a simple cash-in. It was slightly better than most game adaptions, but it still didn't make for a great film.
I'd love to actually have a really good game based film, but money talks in pretty much all cases. They just make something vaguely similar to what the film is based on and cash in on the name alone.
