Maybe you should take your fanboi goggles off, you'll see things a lot clearer then.
Why would non-shooter fans be excited for Rage? iD have never said it was going to have RPG elements, and it does have open world stylings to a certain extent. iD have made it pretty clear that at it's heart Rage is an action shooter.
'takes a mere 15 hours to complete.'
Umm, most shooters nowadays take 6-8 hours to complete at most. It's not an rpg and it's not an open world based game like FO3.
So many negative cretins doing articles nowadays.
Never trust an article that ends with a question mark.

'APRIL FOOLS!!!! YOU FOOLS!!!'
God you're an idiot.
Disappointing, not dissapointing.
That is all.
Well, it's all the input this article deserves anyway, seeing as it's just negative bullshit.
I still haven't tried this out. I've heard loads about it, I've read about and it and seen quite a few videos. And yet I get the same 'Don't try it!' feeling I get when I think about playing World of Warcraft.
I have an addictive personality, and I'm not ready to say 'My name is John Thomas (real name obviously) and I'm addicted to Minecraft' to a crowd of people I don't know.
Some games can literally smell like cr...
Oh Kran, you're so cool.
'hugely influential UK show'
Lol.
I can't wait for the April Fools crap to end.
But in essence it is free shit, they don't have to, I don't think it's an incentive to buy a game. It's just something to reward you in a small way, the reward for buying the game should be the game entertaining you. The rewards are more like a small 'thank you'.
You may not get everything your european cousins get in terms of Club Nintendo, but you also seem to pay less for everything I have to pay for. I like to call this 'Karma' ;)
Can't say I've ever been bothered about Club Nintendo, it's not something I worry about. I had a look once when I first got my Wii and I had enough stars or whatever to get a key ring, maybe if I looked on there now and registed my other games I could get 2 keyrings and a poster. Or more, I don't know.
I won't because I'm not that fussed. It's there if I want it, but......yeah....I'm boring myself even typing about it. It's not like they ev...
Yes, it's a good deal. Along with the best version of the game you also get the ps3 version.
Can't argue with that.

Portal 2 will be even better on the pc, just saying...

Doesn't stop them being games to look forward to for the 360 though does it.
I'd only buy a HD remake if it's a game I can't already get on pc. If it's been on pc, well, I've already played the HD version of it.
I will be getting the Ico and SotC HD remake though, I never played Ico and SotC will be much better with a higher res and a better framerate.
Isn't that from retail?
Retail sales are not proof of overall sales for the pc I'm afraid.
I enjoyed reading this list, because although I don't neccessarily agree with the choices and order, I read about a few games I didn't really know about and I might give them a try.
People who get bent out of shape seeing lists like this shouldn't bother reading them in the first place. If everyone had the same tastes the world would be a very boring place to be.
I'd put them before a MGS title as well, because I don't have the same opinion of the games as you do. Crazy isn't it?
New graphics cards cost as much as a console, but you don't have to buy a brand new card. If you are like me you wait a while and pick up the bargains. I picked up a HD 5770 last Xmas for £60, pretty much the price of a new game. And with that card I can play games at a far better framerate and a far better visual quality than console gamers can only dream of.
The last time I bought a graphics card before that was 3 years ago, and that was on the cheap as well. My pc...
