Really grabbing at straws. I own a Nintendo switch and ps4 now ps4 pro.
I wouldn't suggest the switch over the ps4 for more than 2 of those reasons.
1 it's portable
2 it has Nintendo only franchises.
The rest of your list was so poor, I question your fan boy 'ism.
It powers down and up faster..
Won't lock your fortnite account.... Wow really. If you only own a ps4 you don't need fortnite elsewh...
I got to agree. I spent around 21 hours in botw and felt bored. That I rushed the last 5 hours of my story just to get it over and done with.
Xenoblade I spent over 60 hours on the game and loved most off it. Did find the last boss crap with just doing an ultimate and nuking 70% off it's HP in one go.
I know what you mean. I grew bored towards the end. It is a solid game but the story and gameplay wore thin on me.
The recent video they showed has amazing detail. But I've only played a little of the first reboot, the whole of rise of the tomb raider. But I had played uncharted 4 before rise of the tomb raider and found that so much more fun over this rebooted series.
I don't feel as interested in the newer tomb raider game. Maybe when the price falls down the line, I'll pick it up.
Replying to your comment below. The game has been out for ages on the ps4. Because it has been released on a different platform doesn't make it a new game.
Then jog on mate.
Think you can mod it to run GC games. I sold my Wii U ages ago, but remember something about enabling gc games via a hack.
If digital prices fall to the point that Steam seem to offer then I'm game for it. Some digital sales are way over the costs than what a brick and mortar store sell a physical copy.
For me it's cost > physical > digital. But the two aren't far apart. Just I tend to complete and resell. But now aday's I'm just buying bargain bin games instead of the latest releases.
I saw the E3 unavailing and was like "oh, more of the same now with multiplayer."
Fallout 5 really needs to reinvent the wheel for the fallout franchise.
Say that 60% off players all bought a few pieces of cosmetic. All rounding up to roughly £20 each. That's still less than what we'd be paying for the likes of Cod and it's battle royal mode.
Sure there are players spending hundreds on more and more pieces. But that's their choice.
I'm rather unsure on the cost of cosmetics (as I don't play the game), so I can't say if it's fair or over priced due to the lack of willing players t...
Exactly. But the previous beta for d1 was only a few levels. Can't really tell what end games gonna be like with a level cap in the beta.
I doubt I'd buy d2 anyways, found the first boring after a week or so.
Title is a little wrong. Out dated expansions are free with sub. So basically the battle chest has changed into a freebie due to the subscription changes.
If I were to suggest a console to someone it'll be the ps4 first. The switch is a great console but it's usually one you have on the side paired with either a gaming pc, Xbox one s/X or the ps4.
The switch on its own, I couldn't recommend. Game cost is steep , library of AAA titles isn't there. Indie games are much cheaper else where etc. Battery life can be disappointing at times.
Would be pretty cool, I remember playing/watching RE 3 way back when, but it didn't leave it's mark on me as RE2 did. So I don't really remember everything, just remember collecting explosives, running from the Nemesis a few times etc.
Thanks for the replies, I'll keep an eye on this one. If it's cheap, I'll grab a copy. :)
Is this similar to Diablo 3 at all? I've not heard of this game before, but been itching for a dungeon looter for a while.
Only reason I notice it more on the Switch is due to the smaller library. For the ps4, I tend to check for the AAA games and then move on. The switches eshop is a little hit and miss but I do tend to see the discounts crap indie games for under a buck more often than not.
We need that quality control again.
"Now I'm already kinda full after F4 so I dont mind taking a long long break"
That's how I feel, I didn't find F4 all that, I did play a large amount of the game as well. Fallout 76 just looked more of the same but with multiplayer. I doubt I'd buy it day one, as the MP doesn't really interest me.
If they went the way of Borderlands for loot, then I would consider it. Fallout's loot system is pretty crap, even in 4, wher...
I would prefer Nintendo not to milk it's fans with the retro mini consoles and give us a virtual console. I know they've hinted at something with the Switch's online subscription, but I don't believe it'll have a large library.
I doubt I'd play my Switch online (mainly bought it for the JRPGs), but if the free games a month are actually worth it down the line, then £20 a year is nothing.
If they're going to charge £5 to hold you a standard copy of a game then why bother? They print more than enough copies for most games (apart from Octopath Traveller).
Also most brick and mortar stores in the UK over charge for their games. the only acception is Smyth's which gives you £5 off a pre-order title if you order it online but collect in-store.
Game.co.uk I wouldn't preorder with unless I want a collector's edition.
