Borderlands and d3 for switch all I care for. Rest I will be excited for as well but the two above are what I really want!
Didn't really like the first reboot, so didn't actually complete it. Played rise of the tomb raider and found it boring compared to uc4. Doubt I'd play this new one at all.
Nintendo went from being quality control for families to now letting any sort of 'game' on their console.
Adult games are welcome. But p*ss poor indie games are what's bugging me.
One game for me was blood borne the spider boss on the lake. I didn't manage to kill it before quitting the game.
I would get the bosses health down quickly to be foiled and instantly killed by brand new abilities each time I tried.
The frustration got to me and I just quit.
But re4 was sh*t...
The voting system on this site is terrible. You get a down vote for anything remotely negative. So I don't take much notice of the votes anymore. :)
It's an interesting idea but unless I was a parent I do not see the want for this.
Got a feeling it's a very rinse and repeat of the other two reboots of this genre. I didn't enjoy Rise of the tomb raider. Was pretty bored with the story shortly into it and the small maps just felt like a check list of collectables.
Yeah I had noticed that trend. It's rare for games to hold their retail price for long. They either site at £40 for a month+ (monster hunter world has just came down to around £30 on sale) while other games tend to drop quicker.
Redbox?
The demo was cool, but I won't buy it day one. I've learnt to wait and the prices tend to fall quick. Plus I still got a handful of games to get through. No point adding to that pile unless it's only 10 or so bucks.
Seems my only way to reply to Bahamut is to reply under your comment settirip.
@Bahamut, funny that you say this piece of art is wasted on me and I should go play another shooter game. I don't quite enjoy shooters as much as RPGS, Dungeon crawlers and serious toned thriller games (heavy rain and the Yakuza series for example).
I could write a list of what bugged me about The Legend or Zelda; mountain climber simulator, but it would just be ignored by ...
Just seen your comment above. I completely agree with you and respect that you have taken a mutual ground on the discussion. Compared to a hardcore game defender (you must agree with my opinion or you're a troll, kind of person).
I played it and thought it was a forgetable experience.
My length in the game was about 20-22 hours. Rushed the storyline towards the end. Just wanted the experience over and done with.
Edit; Zelda's voice was so annoying it made me want to punch a baby!
That's shocking. I didn't think it was a great game.
I would've called it A Link to the stars.
I found it short but I really enjoyed the demo. But got a feeling the game will feel like episodes with different androids. Which I'm unsure on.
Gonna wait for a price drop though. I rarely buy games day one anymore.
Interested to see where the modding goes with the switch. I do love my console and would like to run other emulators off it. Also maybe a 3rd party media app (YouTube/Netflix or something if possible).
I agree. These island challenges are boring. I much prefer the 8 gym badges > league > bonus region to explore.
I played like 15 hours of the latest pokemon game and was bored to death by how child friendly designed it seemed to be.
I agree. And I own the ps4 pro. The upgrade isn't much and I could've used that cost on a Nintendo Switch instead of buying it later down the line.
Of course they won't die. A lot of Indies games are single player stories.
Also you're always going to have developer teams wanting to build a story driven game over a MP game.
