It's about time Sony got off their high horse. All these small choice Sony are doing, their doing them for their selves. Backwards compatibility under a high charge per month (ps now), locked cross play, there's a few others (can't remember right now).
But it's selfish business. As I now play single player and 3rd party releases. I may consider xbox next time. Seems more bang for my buck with cheaper games and BC.
The designs are getting worse. I remember seeing a Pokémon shaped as an ice cream cone and a bag of rubbish. This is a step up but not by much..

I liked the look of the battle royale in cod. But you die rather quickly and games can last 2-5 minutes for most players.
Add a respawn option (5-10 lives each). It's a shame such a large map is used for a small duration of time.
The mode looks fun. But also has its own issues.
World is too large for 100 people. Increase the cap to 150-200.
The world seems disappointing when you spend on average 6 minutes on it, seems like a lot of detail for such a short play time. Should have settings for respawning (like 10 lives each).
Weapon priority seems odd. The rng loot picks health kits too often. My brother ran from 7 different buildings and no guns. Just ammo and health kits. Was about ...

It's disappointing with the deletion of cloud saves. But it's what you expect with Nintendo, half assed jobs.

I don't know why FF7 is on the list. The FMV cutscenes are all in the game. I understand that they used to more better looking parts of the game. But those scenes weren't dumb down on the disc.
Even one of the adverts shows actually game play... Check the advert with the guy at the pc.
I can understand if gameplay was shown and if gameplay was dumb down with quality. But for Ff7, this isn't the case from the example given.
I really couldn't get into this game series. Played #2 on the 3ds and the hand holding by Nintendo was annoying. You play 5 levels then you get told how to play the game again with another tutorial...

It really depends on cost of this re-release. But got a feeling it'll be £44.99 or something. Where I wouldn't feel comfortable spending. £29.99 would be more like it for me.
Sunset over drive was one of the gems on the Xbox one. It was one of the reasons (along with backwards compatibility) for my Xbox one purchase.
But wish the game didn't fully revolve around sliding along rails. Be somewhere in between dead rising and rail grinding would be nice.
This was the biggest shocker for me on the N.direct. the rest of the direct was crap, d3 I know is coming and already pre-ordered. But FF7 and 9 will be a treat. Plus I want to try out world of final fantasy on the go. So I'll wait for a price drop of course.

Cod is meant to be a fast pace run and gun shooter. Larger maps don't really balance well with two small teams. While battlefield went for the larger team based shooter (was how they stayed different from each other on the market).
I'm curious how the cod battle royale mode works tbh. As cod is still the fairly arcade shooter in my opinion. Are there guns to loot or it is all about being the last man standing?
I'm glad I have a large back log of games. So by the time I play this. It should be in a good state.
It's just a shame that first time players are going to be hit with some disappointment due to the issues. Not something this gem of a game needs.
I knew 4 would be top of this list.
It's usually if you didn't grow up playing re1, 2 and 3 on the ps1. 4 is your go to resident evil.
If you grew up playing the ps1 then 2 maybe 3 is your #1 choice.
For Me, 2 is the best resident evil game. Just because how the story worked so well with 2 discs and the dual story lines. That over lapped each characters attack on the police station.

The lack of demands means lower prices.. it's common retail practice. Check over HotUKDeals and you'll see used Xbox one games are a lot less than PS4 games. Mainly by the boomerang rental vendor.
