A lot of people don't understand that Classic was super slow, broken and not balanced at all. It was fun the first time around, but to play a class that had one raiding spec (paladin) was boring at times.
Things what take a week to achieve, took months back then. I'd consider playing if they fixed all class specs to perform in raids.
Btw, who actually misses sitting in trade chat asking for the ubrs key or someone to tank brd... Then 3 hours lat...
May just be a joy con thing. I play with the tablet on one of those tablet bed arms and free hand the cons. So a quick sudden movement ends up in the character rolling.
Most annoying thing about the switch copy is the motion controls. Flick the joy con and it rolls the character.
Finished a rift hit teleport back home. Put down the joycon to grab my drink and my character rolls, cancelling the teleport home. No option to disable. Same with vibration. Had to fully disable vibration via switch settings.
We must had played different games. Botw did nothing for me, I'm one of the small few who disliked the game and found it nothing special. Only jaw dropping thing I liked about the game was the clouds actually cast a shadow on the world as they float above. Was that sort of attention to detail I liked.
Actual game though, was over rated. Especially for story as you has to find these flash backs (I didn't).
I'll still grab this as got it pre-ordered for £36 (think it's RRP is £45-50), so could easily get my money back or close too if I dislike it within the first few days/week.
Was hoping it to be a little more like the GBC version with traditional turn based combat, weaken Pokemon to catch etc.
But with things like Mega Evo, and the Pokemon Go control scheme, I'm more worried on the future of Pokemon. Might be a franchise I slowly mov...
I didn't really read into this game much, I thought it would be a remake of Yellow without the RNG battles. But now looking at the way you catch pokemon, I feel this will be a game I won't enjoy as much. I really enjoyed the whole random spawn battles and leveling up your team by fighting. This seems like it's trying to cater into the whole Pokemon Go Mobile game.
I got a copy arriving for release day, let's see how it plays.

I don't expect every title under the sun to make it onto the Switch, a good handful could work. Even older ports I don't mind, a budget range of titles (sub £20) of Xbox 3/ps3 games being ported over I wouldn't complain. (Like the FF news we saw at e3).

I only made it to the area where you're waiting for a boat, so maybe an hour-3 into the game. The game looks amazing, but the combat was so bad that I just couldn't be bothered anymore.
If it was hack and slash I'd be ok with it, or something like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 would've been acceptable. Or even Dragon Age Inquist, I'd be ok with.

If the games are good go for it. But don't make it your main project.
Hopefully these are side projects which smaller groups are making while the main teams are supporting older and newer of/console releases.
D3 wasn't that bad. Was terrible at launch of course. But it turned into the arcade dungeon looter we know now. It wasn't fully defined compared to other copies on the market. But it wasn't a sh*t game.
I recently just started Origins. If they kept with the same gameplay as the previous games I'd agree. They'd need to move on. But origins is a nice change.

Played the reboot and rise of the tomb raider. Both average games, didn't hold a candle at all to Uncharted 4. The script on both games are so far apart, that one tries to be serious by just repeatedly screaming down the mic while the other has some really good banter and funny bits to it.
Don't think I can bring myself to play shadows , as the two previous entries weren't all that.
I only just started origins and tbh, coming from dislkinibg the other rinse and repeat assassin's creed, they've done a good job on origins. And from what I've heard Odyssey is that but better. I'm liking the new direction.
I'm curious to see if the division 2 has had any major changes. From E3 it looks more the same as #1, so it's a pass for me.

It sounds like one of those games where hype got the better of it.
Too much hype and it just couldn't perform well. It's one of the reasons I skipped this game. It looked decent in the trailer. But didn't really stand out to me as something I wanted to play right now. I wait it out.
I really think it's a locked processor to patch out the hackable exploit at the moment.
Other than that I doubt we'd see anything of an upgrade other than cheaper production as every other console has done to date.
A switch pro as you like, wouldn't really be considered for at least another year (2020 release). It wouldn't make much sense with the early life span of the Switch.

The switch announced it had 1000 games released on its console. Nintendo's seal of approval has really dropped its quality for quantity.
Some games on the switch look pathetic (especially a few Indy titles). Then you got the buggy wrestling games. With the price hikes on these titles as well, I'm more disappointed in Nintendo and it's digital service.

Wow F*** me what a reply.... If loot boxes were truly optional then it's fair. But when you hinder your game to force the hand for loot boxes. That's where you've crossed the line.
If sometime took a reasonable time to unlock or you could by pass it with a buck that's a fair balance. But now it's taking people weeks to unlock something minor or 5 bucks.
