I disagree, I bought it at launch and the Vita is a blast. Granted I'm playing Hot Shots golf and MLB 12 mainly but there something about playing PS3 type games while laying in my bed that makes the Vita so awesome. Maybe its not cancelled. Just that Sega is not publishing it. The same thing just happen with True Crime. It was thought to be cancelled then Squarenix stepped in bought the rights to and now they are publishing the game.
It really comes down to their pricing, I don't understand why its so high. Especially when it comes to TV's. A comparable Samsung, Vizio, LG and others are usually around $300 less from what I have seen, sometimes even more. Sony's Name isn't doing for people anymore, they need to fix the pricing or just drop and focus on Movies and Gaming. Phones, TV's Disc-players and other markets outside of Movies and Gaming are already dominated by other brands.

What games? I doubt its Metro 2033 or any other high profile Graphics buster known to bring PC's to their knees. Take a look at Crysis, this game is old as dirt but consoles as they stand cannot deliver close to max resolution. Blu-ray movies have been out for just as long. Get your head out of gaming. 1080p is already standard when it comes movies and other HD media but as far as gaming goes it will not exist for sometime. Take a look at all HD high-profiles games most of them, run in a sub-hd resolution and are then upscaled. 1080p standard for consoles will not exist for some time. A PC has to be pretty monstrous in order play a game in 1080p with all the nice effect turned up to max. Hardware like that found in big PCs will not be standard, ever in consoles, so it will probably be three generations (yes, I know roughly 15 years), before 1080p HD standard can be had on a Console. But sometimes it doesn't work out that way. This year for me has been the worst in terms of working in over 6 years. Work really dried up last year where I couldn't afford many games. If it wasn't for some pirate action I wouldn't have played half of what I played. I don't condone it but videogames are a passion for me and its not always so simple as I can't afford it. I wonder where they are getting the QA numbers? A baseline tester makes nowhere near these numbers in the gaming industry. VideoGame QA testing is a field so filled, that companies don't bother paying for experience when they can fill 3 chairs with dumbasses instead of paying 1 very well experienced tester. It has been years of the Playstation. Since launch the lineup and system has improved and gotten better. Why settle for one good year when you can have 4?
Try this. Download the new drivers and place it on your desktop. Then completely uninstall your videocard and its current drivers. Reboot your machine. The screen will look like crap locate your new drivers install them and reboot. This way all files for the videocard are all new with no chance of old driver file conflicting with the new ones.

But doesn't Call of Duty:Elite force activision to recycle old maps in order to keep those fans happy. Even if all they do is recycle old maps for the first 6 months Elite customers will be given the illusion that their subscription is paying for itself with all the maps they are receiving. I don't agree with the process but you have to keep your fan base happy and im pretty sure those that paid for elite will be happy in getting tons of free maps even if they are from older games.
