While I am excited about uncharted 3, I feel that gaming is going the way of the movie industry. All publishers seem to care about is sequels to the last big name game. I feel gaming is always best around the first three years of a new generation of consoles because this is when studios and publishers attempt to dazzle with new IPs but after they have found a new recipe it gets milked pretty heavy. Who is not interested in this game that is part of the mainstream consumer market? I mean, even I have a vague interest in playing the SP campaign just because I have played MW1, MW2 and I want to know how the story plays out in MW3. But those used games have to come from somewhere, new games have to be bought in order for them to become used games. So the cycle has to continue either way. Just don't buy them period, eventually the price and/or production cycle will be reduced to the point where we are not seeing a "New" edition of said game every 10 months or so. It would be every 2-3 years.
Microsoft did the same thing at E3. They plastered kinect ads everywhere in the mens restroom. Mirrors, above the urinals, in stalls at the doors. It was kind of sad really, how desperate must you be for your products success that you would advertise in the restroom? Seeing those ads made me think of kinect as a bigger joke than I did previous and seeing this just further puts the idea in my head that activision only has Call of dookie.....I mean duty in their portfolio.

I have a HD6850 and it runs a ton of stuff on High, plus they are very good OC'ers, I got mine running at near HD6870 speeds, 830mhz at the core and 1175mhz memory. Granted one can get a 6870 and OC it but save a few dollars and get a 6850. The secret to running a PC game is don't over do it with the crazy resolution. Most games run at high to very high settings @1650x1080 which is a very good sweet spot especially if you turn up the textures and such, also keep shadows to a minimum, ...
I wholeheartly agree with you, nothing is better than face 2 face competition. But this game is suppose be using GGPO network code, and having played around with it on PC I will say that GGPO network code is a big stepup from all current fighting game network code used in most games. Read up on it and see if its for you. I will most likely save the money and continue using it on PC.
This will probably be day 1 for me, but you know what would be awesome?! If kojima snuck in trophies for MGS4, imagine you're prompted to download a day 1 patch and in the patch notes you read "MGS4 now has trophy support" load in the pants and game gets an instant replay. I actually didn't like the game at all. I prefer the side scrolling Mario games alot more. Mario 1, 2(not really a mario game, I know), 3, super mario world, New super mario bros for the DS and Super Mario Wii are all better than any 3D mario game that has released, IMO. I like when world 1-1 and 1-2 are different, unlike the 3D one where its basically the same level with a few blocks moved around.
