Well said!!! This is truly an eye opener for the industry as a whole. But no matter how much a game makes, bussiness's will always look at our passion as somthing that is meant for kids.

Not to try and downplay you, but way more people know who a little fat plumber by the name of Mario is. Master Chief is a true icon to the gaming culture and so is the game's name, HALO. But outside of gaming circles nobody knows who Master Chief is. Mario hit a stride a long time ago and now Moms, Dads and even grandparent know who Mario is.

there were 3 in the collection(I got all 3). not big on Halo but as a gamer I gotta respect Bungie for developing a game that put pressure in the industry to try and recreate on that success. Don't like Halo dont like Microsoft, but hats-off to Bungie they give fans what they want and it shows.

I have a PS3 and I bought VF5 when it released and had my fun with it.
But that got old so it got sold and I haven't had any regrets about it.
Online is not that big of a thing with me, to the point I would consider buying the game again just to play online and I am pretty sure that goes for a lot of PS3 fans. So I don't see it as a bad thing that sega would try to sell as many units on the 360, cause the PS3 fanbase has pretty much dried out.
If this is the case, why jump ship to the 360. Just start making games for the Wii, the console with the biggest install base in the world. Japanese first games don't make money on the 360, blue dragon has proven that. True hardcore american gamers don't buy Jrpg's or anything with a japanese flavor (unless its a mail order bride).

Raise the install base so to keep the exclusives and make other exclusives possible multi or even sway them to the PS3 side.

it has to do a little with the lag. Cause the same thing has happened to me. You swear up and down that you knifed you oppoent only to be shown on killcam that you were way off.

Just a PS3 that plays PS3 games, PSN games and Blu-ray movies and instead of $400 make it $300. now that's a bargain that very few will be able to pass up.
these are good scores, because Japan tends to be very anti-western gaming. Blue-dragon is very much thier style that is why it is scored the same. Even lost planet has a sci-fi art style that is very japanese. American reviewer will score this game very high as well, so to compare Ign and famistu scores is not a very good comparsion.

I wouldn't buy a 360 if the price were $200 for the elite. There are far to many problems with the hardware to warrant a purchase, and it's a good thing that you are not in charge of thing at MS, they are still in the red from the orignal Xbox and you want them to add to that by 15x.
