and you do realize that 5 million + is a better starting point then 500k. even if only 10% of PS3 owner user use the Blu-ray function that is still a larger user base then HD-DVD.
It all comes down to controls. They made a big mistake making this motion control only. It just doesn't make sense. They needed to give player the option for motion and analog control. If this game would have given analog controls, it would easliy average 8's across the board.

supports games and movies, so it makes more sense to show off a system that does both right out of the box. The PS3 is the only system that has HD games and movie playback.
But don't forget that the 360 has a new bundle as well with a better style guitar, so it evens out somewhat.

The HD-DVD add-on only plays movies. It does not allow for games to be read off HD-DVDs. So if the 360 does have a longer then 5 year life span all games will still be on DVD-9s. But that might not be bad since in 2-3 years it might be about half as expensive to develop onto a DVD then the newer standard. Dev's and Pubs are always looking for ways to save money.
doesn't seem out of place, if the 360 can manage to hang on to #1 in NA. In a world where development now cost a minium of 10 million for a big name title, if they manage to hang on to #1, I can see developers still making games for the console, just like they do for the PS2. Cause by then it will be a little cheaper with NO R&D cost and all they other cost that plauge the first 2-3 years of a consoles life.

Well I guess different strokes for different folks. I have played all 3 versions of the game and by far I perfer the PC version. Nothing can replicate the percision of a Mouse and Keyboard and I played the game with basic mouse no rumble and that didn't hinder the experiance one bit.
